Positive: Good location if you want to be close to the main Uji train station. The kitchen was great, we were so pleasantly surprised with it! The room was very nice as well.

Negative: Futons could have been a bit thicker. If you want to be in Uji's old town it's a bit far (30min walk or a bus but it doesn't run often).
