Summary: Wow - where to start . . . this property has everything you could ask for. We enjoyed every moment from our initial reservation inquiry to checking out on our last day. The property is impeccably clean from top to bottom - probably the cleanest property we have ever stayed at and we have traveled quite a bit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return next year!

Summary: A lake vacation is new to our family. It’s typically the ocean, however, we have been forever won over by Lake Gaston! We all prefer the quiet serenity of the lake versus pounding waves….. “ no salt, no sharks, no worries”…. We have already rebooked this home for next year. There were 13 of us and the house was more than accommodating and beautiful! We were all together when we wanted to be , but also found personal space if needed. We loved Carried Away and would highly recommend it!!!

Summary: From the moment we stepped in - the house was perfect! It was very clean and had all the items you would need in your home away from home. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were very comfortable and the bedding was so soft and perfect! Plenty of towels. We enjoyed the pool table, foosball table, and video games. Utilized all the outdoor toys too (kayak - paddle boards). We absolutely loved it and will recommend to everyone!

Summary: We had a family weekend of 20 and everyone was comfortable and never felt crowded. I have never seen a more organized house. The house has so much to offer all ages. It was the perfect house for our 88 year old mother. The game room was a hit with the kids and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. We had great weather for the paddle boards and kayaks. The entire property has so much seating outside and inside. The views from the house are incredible. It is rare to see a lot this flat with a great yard at Lake Gaston. Making the reservation and checkin was a breeze. The house was super clean and the furnishing were fresh and of quality (especially the kitchen) The house information was so clearly displayed and supplied, we never had to ask the host any questions. We plan to return again next year.

Summary: The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. There was more than enough space for us all to be comfortable and together or alone depending on how each person felt. Almost everything we needed was there and any questions we had the property manager(s) responded quickly. We look forward to coming back.

Summary: The property is beyond stunning. When we arrived my family was taken back by the beauty of the house. As we enter the house and seen the view of the lake from the floor to ceiling windows and deck instantly l knew I picked the perfect vacation spot for my family to spend the last week of the year together. The house offered my family time to be together watching Xmas movies by the fireplace, cooking meals and dining together, playing games in the house and backyard. Afternoon hot tub enjoyment with endless sunset around the fire pits. Enough room for everyone to rest and have there own me time. Most importantly core memories were made. If you're looking for the perfect lake front property that offer fun and relaxation this home is the perfect pick.

Summary: We spent a long weekend at this beautiful large house on wonderful lake Gaston. The house is really beautiful as are the large yard and dock. There is a nice fire pit with chairs down near the dock. This was a November visit so too cold to swim or rent the boat, but it was nice to know that we could rent it if we wanted. We had a great time at this very well equipped house. Thank you for the rental!
