The spacious backyard retreat includes a Saltwater Pool (heated in the winter for an additional fee), Hot Tub, Pickleball Court, Basketball Court, Oversized Chess Board, Swinging Station, and a large patio area. The covered porch features an Air Hockey Table, dining area with a propane grill, and a TV for your enjoyment. It’s like staying at a resort, but you get to choose who you share it with!
Countess House is a luxurious 4-bedroom home with resort-style amenities and plenty of space for everyone. The home includes a bonus private 2nd living room, which doubles as a 5th additional sleeping area with 2 Queen Murphy Beds. Three of the bedrooms feature King Beds, while the smaller bedroom and 2nd living room are equipped with Queen-sized beds. The main level boasts an open-concept living room, dining area, breakfast nook, and fully stocked kitchen — ideal for gathering with loved ones. With multiple levels, this home provides ample space for both togetherness and solitude, allowing you to connect and unwind in equal measure. Please note, the home requires the use of stairs to access all living spaces and rooms.
Step outside and continue the gathering experience. The large porch, complete with an Air Hockey Table and dining area by the grill, provides the perfect setting for meals or casual conversations. Further out, enjoy the expansive patio or relax at the outdoor bar, and soak in the beauty of the pool area. The heated saltwater pool (with an additional daily fee for heating) features an industrial-style slide, a soaking/hot tub (included at no extra charge), poolside basketball hoop, and lounge areas perfect for relaxing and socializing.
There are plenty of spaces to dine or lounge around the pool, with additional recreational amenities such as the pickleball court, basketball court, large chessboard, and a grassy yard for games. Don’t forget to unwind in the peaceful Swinging Station — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere.

Summary: This house is truly wonderful—it features a stunning pool, a spacious yard, and ample room for everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by thoughtful amenities such as complimentary coffee, plenty of towels, cozy bedding, clear instructions about the house and a well equipped kitchen. Even though it was a relatively chilly week in Texas, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation thanks to this wonderful house and host.

Summary: Countess house is surprising and exceptional in the best ways. The owners have gone to great lengths to think through personal touches that you wouldn't think of, but significantly add to the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful property. The pool was sparkling clean and inviting. I’m sure it would be perfect for cooling off on hot San Antonio days in the summer, but we were thankful that it was heated and amazing for the cooler December evenings. We were looking for a few nights to decompress and wanted to check out the Pearl district in San Antonio. We went out a couple of nights, but I was surprised how easy everything was and how much we loved just spending time at the house. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. A simple instacart delivery for food and we were set. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. We highly recommend Countess House to anyone visiting San Antonio. It's the perfect blend of relaxation and recreation, offering a unique and unforgettable experience. We can't wait to stay here again! I hope this review is helpful!

Summary: The Countess House did not disappoint. The outdoor area alone was spectacular. Excellent communication with the host! Like immediate responses. House was clean and spacious. Extra linens and towels provided. Kitchen stocked with utensils and seasonings. Was very cutely decorated for fall as an added touch. We very much enjoyed our stay! If we repeat to San Antonio, we will stay again!!
