The home has a 360' wrap around porch, with the back porch facing the Hermosa cliffs to the west. Upon entering the home, you'll be taken by the massive wood Cathedral Ceilings, open floor plan, and wall of windows to the south. The front porch is screened during the summer, and an arctic entry during the winter months. Views to the South, East, and West are of mountains and forest.
Our 1800 Sq ft, 3 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath, custom home was finished the spring of 2020. It offers privacy and seclusion as it sits at the very end of the road with a 132 acre parcel to the north that you are free to access. It is 2 miles from Purgatory ski resort and 25 miles from downtown Durango.
The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The main living space features a 60 inch flat screen OLED Smart TV with Sonos Surround Sound System and wood burning fireplace (wood provided).
The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king size bed with En-Suite Bath. One of the upstairs bedrooms also has a king, the other a queen.

Summary: Perfect place to stay if you are skiing purgatory! Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Everything is brand new and gorgeous, the pictures do not do it justice!! Will definitely stay here for another ski trip

Summary: Modern, fresh, and extremely clean and well maintained property. Perfect location for our ski trip at Purgatory. Extra large garage with direct access made loading/unloading a breeze. Kids enjoyed the large yard/open space; parents enjoyed have kids on separate level of the cabin. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property!

Summary: We loved staying in this beautiful mountain home that backs up to the owner’s private property. It’s so quiet and gives you the feeling of seclusion even though you’re only minutes away from the slopes. The wood burning fireplace is also amazing! We love everything about this house and definitely recommend it!

Summary: We had an amazing three weeks at the house. Our third time coming and absolutely love the location. We were able to venture out to Telluride, Silverton, Durango while being close to “base”. Sean does an excellent job of communicating and the property is top notch. Clean, very well equipped and perfect for our needs. See you next year Sean and truly appreciate the stay.
