At first, I was a little hesitant, but by the end of our stay, it was what I missed most! There’s nothing quite like a warm shower in the open air, with the gentle seaside breeze drifting by—pure bliss. Some might be concerned about local geckos, but we found them to be a delightful part of the experience. One or two make an appearance, keeping the odd mosquito at bay. But if you want to destress and enjoy an authentic seaside retreat, this is the place to be. It’s serene, laid-back, and perfect for those who prefer a peaceful escape. October was delightfully quiet, but for those wanting extra solitude, it’s worth checking availability during busier months like December when campers and beach house guests might also be around.
