This unique lakefront villa, completely newly renovated, is something really special and unforgettable: it is right on the shore of the lake! A flowered terraced garden surrounds the property granting privacy to its guests. From the entire villa, terraces, balcony and garden you can admire a wide panorama with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. From the parking area, stairs leads you down towards the villa and the shore of the lake. When you enter the villa, you access the ground floor where you find the living area, the dining area, the kitchen and a guest bathroom with also the washing machine. On the first floor there are the 3 bedrooms: two bedrooms have double beds, satellite TV, face the lake and have a large double window-door that exit to the balcony; the third bedroom has 2 single beds and has a window with lake view too. On the first floor there are also 2 full bathrooms: one has a large shower while the other one has a bathtub. There is a sliding door that allows to create 2 suites: one with one double bedroom and the bathroom with the bath tub; the other one with one double bedroom, the bathroom with the shower and the bedroom with the 2 single beds. This gives an added sense of privacy for example in case of guests like 2 couples or a family with granparents. From the living area you access the front terrace equipped with table and chairs, and also the large terrace next to the house where you have the sunbeds, the BBQ and another dining table with chairs for outside dining. A staircase leads you from this area to the bottom level of the villa where there is another terrace, a little garden with plants for cooking like rosemary, sage and mint and the gate to exit towards the lake for a swim or to the lake promenade for a walk. Here there is the separate entrance for the 4th bedroom that has its own en-suite bathroom with shower.
The house is very quiet and the lake provides absolute serenity, but it is possible to find more life just walking to the main beach of the village, where the locals, the tourists and the windsurfers meet. Cremia and the Northern part of Lake Como in general, is known worldwide as one of the best spots for sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. A local wind from South comes every day in the early afternoon and assures fun for the sail lovers...and a fresh breeze in hot days! In the village, within walking distance from the house, there are a couple of restaurants-pizzerias and coffe bars. Other good restaurants a bit further, but also easy to reach by foot. along the lake promenade. The beautiful 4 km pedestrian lake promenade from Cremia to Musso passes right in front of the villa and allows to enjoy marvellous views of the lake and the mountains during a relaxing walk. Summary: Deborah was a wonderful host who did everything she could to be helpful. We enjoyed the villa and had a beautiful view of the lake from several different rooms, as well as the patio. A car was a must, as she recommended. The small town of Cremia is lovely, but for food and other sightseeing, you need transportation. I would recommend this rental.

Summary: This was a wonderful property but beware of the steps to get into the property from the driveway. It was NOT very well lit and there are a lot of steps to carry your suitcases down and then back up. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain while we were there and steps were very slippery and had to use our phone cameras to see.

Summary: We needed a place that had to check a lot of boxes including air conditioning and a parking spot. But this villa beat the basics by a lot. The terrific balconies and patio spaces are great for sunbathers as they take in the views. You can even jump right into the lake in front of the house. The location is about an hour north of Como itself but in easy reach of Menaggio (20 minutes). If you're comfortable driving on narrow Italian roads it's a good central point. We even drove around the north of the lake and you can reach Varenna that way in about an hour. Our daughter can't do boats so this was great. There are two locations within easy walking distance for a quick meal and a grocery store is a short drive north to stock the kitchen. You really only have one neighbor too. The host Deborah was great checking us in and giving us good directions. Can not recommend highly enough.

Summary: It was so amazing to have the 4km promenade right out front for walks to great cafes and restaurants. Views from every room. Easy parking. Great grocery nearby. Good proximity to activities in Dongo, Menaggio, and the Ferry. The furniture has been updated since the photos were taken - it seats 6 comfortably in the main room now. We also appreciated the host being helpful in securing a recommendation when we had an unexpected medical need.

Summary: When we arrived we couldn't believe our eyes. We were directly facing the Lake & to our left we could see snow on the Swiss Alps. The steps down to the house meant it wasn't disabled friendly but that didn't affect us. We found everything comfortable but needed instructions for how to get some heating. Summary: Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Great walks right along the lakeshore. Only caveat is the steep walkway down to the house. If you have trouble with walking this can be a challenge. For most people this is a great choice!!

Summary: We had a great week in this lovely holiday home. It was delightful being lakeside and watching the lake and the weather role in. Cremia is quiet but there are good restaurants nearby. We hired a boat for the day in Dongo only 10 mins away by car. The nearest mini market is a 5 min drive and the nearest big supermarket is 20 mins. That was the only downside really.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay at the villa. The rooms are spacious and clean and the kitchen has everything you need apart from an oven. There is also a lot of outdoor space with stunning views of the lake. The villa is a short walk from a couple of bars and restaurants.

Summary: This house is a little under loved. There is no oven and no air con and it is not lavishly or stylishly decorated but the outside space more than makes up for it. Lots of places to sit, eat, lie And swim outside. A great walk from the rear of the property takes you to the next village and a great bakery/ little genetal store/pizza place and restaurant. Views are incredible. We loved out stay.
