The James River Cabin is your four-season vacation destination. This secluded cabin is nestled amongst the trees on 95 acres located on the upper James River, just 10 short miles from the bustling city of Springfield, Missouri, and less than an hour from the popular tourist destination of Branson, Missouri. On-site activities are numerous and include bicycling, trail hiking, utv trail riding, kayaking, fishing, arrowhead hunting, hot tubbing, and swimming in your own personal paradise.
James River Cabin offers a secluded escape from every day stresses while still providing all of the luxuries and comforts of home. This uniquely rustic yet child-friendly cabin provides all of the amenities that you could ask for, including a fully stocked kitchen, sleeping accommodations for 6 adults, two full bathrooms, king bed in master bedroom, queen sleeper sofa in living room, twin bunk beds, washer and dryer, wood burning fire place, outdoor fire pit and dining, three furnished outdoor living areas, HOT TUB, and satellite and roku TV. Additionally, the cabin provides tasteful and comfortable linens and décor that will be sure to please even the most particular of guests.
This river front property also provides utv and kayaks/paddleboards. The river access is a short two-minute utv drive from the cabin, and kayaks are ready to launch at the picnic overlook area. The UTV is not included in the price of the rental, and is an additional fee. Please let us know if you would like to purchase use of the UTV for your stay and we will send an additional charge. A map to the river and trails is provided in the cabin for reference. Grubhub and Uber Eats deliver to the cabin if you don’t feel like cooking! The cell service is not great but Fiber internet is installed.

Summary: Property owners were amazing and very helpful. Replied to any questions very quickly. The cabin was fabulous. So many things to do. Hot tub, games, tvs, kayaks, trails, river, scavenger hunt. The owners have thought of everything! I would definitely recommend this place over and over again.

Summary: Me and my wife came for a thur-sun anniversary trip and we found this cabin and immediately said this is the one we fond the property to be so charming and quite, the inside of the cabin was done just perfectly done and is by far one of the most well stocked kitchens we have ever been in there was even a crokpot. The 2nd floor bed room and bath were so comfortable and relaxing, the fireplace was so cozy. The outdoor amenities is another shining point for this listing there is a wonder hottub hammock right off the covered porch and while too cold for us to use eith the canoes or kayaks its amazing that they are there for tou to use. We did make use of the utv to go down to the river and explore the teails on the property it was an absolute blast l. The hosts responed to any questions we may uave had or even to juct chat a bit a teully stand out place sto stay and with all the close by things to do it should be atvthe too of your list, dont miss out on this property.

Summary: We were just for dad‘s getting away for the weekend and this place could not have been better. We are all from Springfield, Missouri only 25 minutes away, but felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed the side-by-side, the hot tub, the fire pit, and all the other amenities . I’m reluctant to leave such a good review as I would like to keep this hidden gem hidden. But also feel like other should be made aware of it. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely check this spot out. It is absolutely stellar.

Summary: It was everything you want for people who like the outdoors. Very peaceful and quiet! Many things to do. We have stayed in many cabins. This is far the best ever stayed in! Very clean and comfortable place to stay. We would suggest it to everyone!

Summary: From check-in to check-out I loved every minute of this vacation. Spent most of our time enjoying the trails and playing in the river! Always ended the night with a nice fire and a movie with the whole family packed in the loft bed!! Very responsive and gracious hosts thanks again!!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. It was quite relaxing. We found the house to be clean and accommodating for our needs. We spent time riding around in the UTV on the property and utilizing the canoe and paddleboards in the river. We spent the evenings by the fire and watching streamed movies. Both my teens said it was the perfect trip for resting.
