Tucked into a grove of trees just outside Warren Dunes State Park, this three-bedroom home in Sawyer provides a beautiful setting for both summers and winters at Lake Michigan. Enjoy a multi-level deck and screened porch, a wonderful patio with a firepit, and a private hot tub where you can unwind in the evenings and gaze up at the stars.
This three-story home is enviably located half a mile from the entrance of Warren Dunes State Park, known for its three miles of gorgeous beaches, six miles of hiking trails, and dunes that rise up to 260 feet above the lakeshore. In this quiet neighborhood, you'll also enjoy easy driveway parking and close proximity to downtown Sawyer less than two miles south.
Partially remodeled and thoughtfully updated in recent years, the house was designed for indoor/outdoor living. Begin each morning with coffee and breakfast on the screened porch, and spend the afternoons flipping burgers on the new Weber gas grill on the deck. In the evenings, tell stories around the firepit, relax in the hot tub, and eventually move inside to the sunken living room to stream movies by the wood-burning fireplace.
The interior is air conditioned throughout, offering a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an indoor dining space for when the weather turns crisp, and high-speed WiFi in case you're hoping to work from home. A private washer/dryer is on hand as well.

Summary: We really enjoyed this house. Nice neighborhood. 2 minutes or less drive to the entrance of the dunes. Great seating areas for meals inside and on the screened porch. non scented towels and linens. Fire pit was well set up and very safe. Cozy TV Area with board games. We loved the vintage cottage screen doors and the wonderful smell of the pine trees. Boardwalk around the hot tub made things extra pleasant. A few things to note, No blender. No drip coffee maker. No condiments in the fridge like some other places we have stayed at. Laundry is in the basement so a lot of stairs if you plan on doing laundry here. bathrooms are sufficient but not super luxurious - but the towels were big and soft and clean!

Summary: The property was great.....easy to find....beautiful woodsy setting. Just a few thoughts....we played games at the kitchen table and found the lighting to be rather dim. We also were looking for places to hang towels in the bathrooms. Possibly a luggage rack in the bedrooms? We really appreciated the lamps by the beds for nighttime lighting! Nice touch! And of course, we really enjoyed the hottub! Thank you for a nice retreat for us!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and great for our kids! We loved being so close to Warren Dunes, and it was an easy drive to St. Joseph and Kalamazoo for day trips during our visit. Awesome to have kids bedrooms separate from living space and plenty of space for all of us. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: It was lovely to be indoors snd out. The home is nicely arranged space for two families with kids that want to stay together in one room. Its wonderful to be so close to Warren Dunes....we camped there for a few days first. Sitting on the screened-in porch listening to birdsong or looking at the stars from the beach or eating dinner after bbqing, sleeping peacefully. It was all a much needed respite and we enjoyed it. Its easy to stay with a well stocked kitchen with dishwasher and washing machines and dryer. We cooked meals and dined out in nearby Bridgmsn, Sawyer and three oaks. Try Jovani's just down the Red Arrow Highway or Zoe"s donuts across the street.

Summary: Everything was great. Location, cleanliness, comfortable beds, decor, outdoor spaces. The deck out to the hot tub was really nice. Safety concerns from previous reviews were addressed by the time we stayed. Our kids loved the place too. No complaints, and we hope to come back!
