Kick off your shoes and enjoy a taste of old Florida in our charming beach cottage located on the beach side of Gulf Blvd. We are one of six individually owned units in Gulf Sounds and just a few steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. Treasure Island has a sparkling white sand beach with clear blue-green waters. Our beach is closer to the water and quieter than the many of the busy hotel beach areas in Treasure Island. We are centrally located with many restaurants, shops, and activities within walking distance. There is a public boat ramp across the street and the beach trolley stop is on the corner.
Our bright and airy beach cottage is upstairs allowing you to take advantage of cool night breezes and to leave your windows open with no worries. It's quieter too since it is not on the street side of the complex. The unit is just under 700 sf and sleeps 4 with a queen bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. The floors are original oak hardwood throughout except for tile in the kitchen and bath. The separate dining area seats four comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, etc.

Summary: My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this Gulf Sounds cottage and both of us had a wonderful stay. Very close to the beach and a comfortable unit that was just as advertised. This was our first VRBO experience and James is responsive to questions and made sure our stay was a good one! 5/5 stars

Summary: Our stay was lovely. The location is perfect and a short walk to John's pass and its on the beach side of the main road. The owners were super friendly, quick to contact, and cared deeply about the safety of all guests. The amenities were awesome and privacy of the courtyard that separated the cottage from the street was comforting.

Summary: This property is very close to anything you may want to do. The property grounds are very peaceful. Very short walk to the uncrowded beach. You don’t even need to bring any beach gear, there are plenty of chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach towels, and a small cooler. My only complaint is the cleaners need to clean the floors better. We had to keep socks or shoes on inside to keep our feet from being covered in dirt. We stayed in another of these units last year and did not have this issue. This will not keep us from returning next year though! We absolutely loved our stay here!

Summary: I stayed here with my daughters ages 19 and 22 as my younger daughter attends the University of Tampa. The cottage is decorated in a beach theme-it's super cute and has everything you need such as 2 free shared washer/dryers, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels. The location is perfect-the beach is less than a block away and the bay to see the sunrise is 2 blocks away. John's Pass Village and Boardwalk is 1/2 mile away which has lots of clothing and souvenir shops as well as restaurants. I highly recommend "Sweet Brunette Cafe" which is a mile away for coffee and breakfast. I had the funky monkey coffee and had to go back the next day to have it again! There is also a Publix a mile away. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying there again!!!!
