Completely remodeled lake house on Mandon Lake! This 2 bed, 1 bath home is perfect for your family getaway. Come enjoy the lake with the provided kayaks or relax in the sun on this beautiful property! This private canal home is perfect to enjoy the sun and good company for a weekend away. Enjoy the many restaurants in the area or simply enjoy a home cooked meal in your updated kitchen or outside grill! This is truly what Michigan summers are about! We follow VRBO’s cleaning protocol for COVID-19. Long term stays are available, please reach out to discuss further!
The Space:
2 beds, 1 bath home away from home. You can enjoy a large yard, firepit, cornhole, kayaks, grill, coffee bar, and swimming all from your backyard. The home includes everything new! Includes: heat, A/C, full laundry, high speed WIFI, keyless entry, smart tv and beautiful views! Also includes cornhole, board games, and lifejackets! In addition to all the fun you can have at the Mandon Retreat, there are many local parks with things to do in the area!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. My children came, it was roomy not too crowded. Very spacious for a small house. The decor makes you feel like you are at a restful place. The beds we’re comfortable. The nights were quiet, peaceful. Lots of shopping N S W E around you, so it did not have that deep in the woodsy feeling. The host would respond to any sny questions or concerns I had in a few minutes.

Summary: My family and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and it was simply relaxing! The house was so clean and had everything we needed and more. The kayaks were great to have and there were even rafts to use. It was quiet and just what we needed for a getaway from the city. I highly recommend!

Summary: The place was nice. No complaints. My brother said it was the best sleep hes gotten in weeks... that may have had more to do with not having 4 children waking him up, but still it was a nice place to stay. 😁

Summary: What a charming place this is! Upon arrival, there was a sweet, handwritten card, left for us, along with a couple other little treats! It was just the perfect and simple decor that added to it. The outdoor area with the lights, the fire pit and kayaks were the icing o.know the cake. It rained a good bit while we were there but my son and niece were still able to get a quick kayak ride in! There was plenty of space for all of us! Would definitely come back here again! It was the perfect location for us to be able to spend the day in Ann Arbor but still able to get to our event in Detroit. It’s a little hidden getaway that felt like such a wonderful relaxing retreat!

Summary: The cottage is decorated with warmth and personality- from the minute you open the door it feels like you are in a real home, not a rental. So very welcoming! Everything was extremely clean, but certainly not sterile. Grocery stores, gas, restaurants...all within just a short drive. The neighbors were friendly but not intrusive and the owners were respectful and very sweet. We will be booking the next time we come to MI!!

Summary: Everything was perfect . . . Clean, cozy, PET FRIENDLY :) and convenient to our family who we were visiting for the holiday.
