Summary: Love the location. Beautiful view. So much wildlife to watch it is always different with the change of the hour. The house is nice does need some upgrades on some things. Bed was comfy. Furniture needs to be better though. Want to go back for sure.

Summary: The location of the property is beautiful. I knew via the photos that the property itself would be a bit rustic, but what we didn’t anticipate was the lack of cleanliness. Garbage bags are heaped in a storage shed (surrounded by flies, etc), the floors and appliances were dirty, but the kicker was when a stainless steel frying pan immediately caught fire when I added oil to the pan because of how dirty the pan was (I had assumed upon sight it was just old). The flames immediately reached the stove hood; fortunately we were able to put it out (and there was a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink). I have a photo of the pan mid cleaning to show how dirty it was. We purchased our own garbage bags and sponges as there were no extra onsite. Ended up leaving 24 hours early as we were ready to go home by that point. Definitely a disappointing stay.

Summary: Was in need of solitude time with a stack of books and this little cabin fit the bill. Perfect for one, cozy for two. Equipped with most everything I needed to make tea, coffee and meals. Just a short drive from enjoying hikes at Burton Acres Park, Point Robinson, and Maury Island Marine Park. Serenity achieved!

Summary: Cabin is small but cozy. Right across a wonderful bay where my kids collected sand dollars. All appliances worked great.

Summary: The cabin interior is clean, well furnished, and has an updated bathroom. The bed is very creaky and the mattress and box spring are unstable which was very uncomfortable. The best feature is sitting outside looking at the view but is ruined by the deteriorating outdoor deck, table, cushions, and umbrella which are all covered in bird droppings and debris. The cushions are also moldy. The table top is warped wood so it is impossible to put anything on top of it.
