Summary: This is a nice property, located really centrally in Palmerston North. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, which was great. The apartment was very comfortable and we appreciated the use of the spa pool. Little things let this property down for us, in comparison to other properties we have stayed in previously in Australia and New Zealand. There was some basic maintenance needed - a slow draining sink in the bathroom and a kitchen sink tap that wouldn’t easily move between sinks that we were concerned about breaking. We were also a bit disconcerted to find other people’s used toiletries in the shower and a lot of the landlord’s food in the fridge, which didn’t appear to have been cleaned before we arrived. Although we had expected some breakfast items, it seemed a bit odd that so much other stuff was there, such as half filled bottles of Coca Cola and used condiments. Although this was okay, we would have preferred something a bit less personal and we needed the fridge space as we had family coming in for meals. Although we were very comfortable, we thought a bit more care with presentation would improve the overall experience.

Summary: We enjoyed the beautiful apartment. It was nice and welcoming, with a luxurious feel to it. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast option. It was perfect weather for a spa but after eating out, we forgot all about it. Another time!
