Need to get away? We have the perfect place for you to relax, recharge, and have fun!
Our year round home is a picturesque modern mountain lake hideaway once part of the historic Saranac Inn property. Upper Saranac Lake is just across our quiet, dead end street.
Dock, beach, state boat launch, and the historic Saranac Inn Golf Club, are all just a 2-3 minute walk away. Our property offers endless possibilities for family fun and relaxation.
We feature lake views, beach access, and a dock space to accommodate a boat up to 18 feet (including motor). For fun on the water, we provide a canoe and three kayaks, complete with paddles and life jackets of all sizes.
For fun in the snow, we provide a large variety of snow shoes and poles with sizes from toddler all the way up to adult. Or go sledding with our LL Bean snow tubes and sleds.
We also cater to families with young children by providing highchair, two booster seats, two pack-n-plays, two strollers, infant/toddler tub, bed rail, swing set, beach toys, basketball hoop + basketball, and a collection of board games and family-oriented DVDs.
Recently renovated in 2018, with a brand new kitchen, updated bathrooms, and all modern conveniences.

Summary: We loved our stay here! Michelle was amazing and ensured we were informed and comfortable at the house. She even sent recommendations for food and things to do, including things for if it rained! The house was spacious and accommodated our family well, and the outside areas were relaxing and beautiful- exactly what you would hope for during an Adirondack stay.

Summary: The house and owner were great! Some highlights were the very well-supplied new kitchen and LOTS of "toys" = canoe, kayaks, yard games, games, and books galore. There is lots to do! We heard the Loon family every day and loved paddling around the bay and islands! 5-minutes away, canoe rentals are cheap for paddling the Fish Creek and Floodwood areas, some of the best paddling anywhere! The evenings were amazingly quiet and the stars were stunning. Beach Note: the beach is narrow and sloped, so just for access to swimming area. There is a grassy area with chairs above it for sitting. We swam from next to one of their shared docks which are much closer. We hope to visit again! Thanks, John

Summary: Easy access to lake. Dock available if renting or bringing a boat. Kayaks, canoe, lifejackets, yard games. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet, rural area. Peaceful neighborhood to walk around. Host, Michelle, had excellent communication and offered plenty of suggestions regarding restaurants and various activities in the area.

Summary: Everything we were looking for in an ADK lake house. Clean, nice, comfortable, great kitchen, furnishings, bbq, quiet neighborhood and even loons singing in the night. Location is great for hikes, paddling, biking. Homeowner was very approachable on phone and super helpful for information. A+

Summary: We wanted a home that would allow us to spend time with our family. It was perfect for us to hang out and make meals, play games and just hang out. It was near the VIC and it was awesome to have snow shoes and poles to use. The place was well appointed and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and very helpful.

Summary: This property has it all! Want to get away from it all but still have the luxury of a short drive to town? This place is for you! Located in a gorgeous little neighborhood on Upper Saranac Lake yet a short from the town Saranac Lake and Lake placid. The home is beyond well appointed with all of kitchen items and recreational accessories you would need for a lakeside vacation. The very comfortable beds are a huge bonus as well! We booked as a last minute opportunity to hike one of the nearby plentiful trails and the weather took a turn for the rainy…4 inches to be exact. We didn’t let it dampen our plans and when we got back to Red Fox Run after a soggy day out we were all so happy for a hot shower and relaxing on the cozy couch in front of the warm fire. The homeowner Michelle was fantastic at communicating everything we needed to know about the property and surrounding areas. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival as well! I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again…thanks Michelle for your wonderful hospitality!
