Location, Location, Location. The Woodley park neighborhood is one the most sought after locations for its upscale houses, beautiful streets and convenience. You do not need a car to get around here since the metro and the bus are about a half a block away (less than 5 minute walk). You can walk to DuPont Circle, Downtown, the White House and the Mall. The Zoo is, of course, a block away. There are plenty of restaurants around the corner from the house where you can taste some of the best foods DC has to offer. The Hot and Juicy, a shrimp and Craw-fish restaurant, is a late night gem. The Lebanese Taverna, Le Pettit Plat (a french restaurant), Pizze (an Italian Pizzeria), Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's, an Indian cuisine, an Afghan Kabab restaurant around the corner, and a Chipotle just to name a few. There is also a convenient grocery store, Manhattan Market, as well as a CVS pharmacy within a block from here.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! Allen and Juliet are great hosts and super responsive. The house is clean, has all the described amenities, and any maintenance was taken care of promptly. The location is amazing too - it's right off the red line in a great neighborhood near running trails. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here Jan - mid March while we worked/studied in a program in DC. The location in Woodley Park was fantastic! Safe & close to the metro station and easy walk to several restaurants & a small grocery. Highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed in this house for 2 months. It was a great find. The neighborhood is wonderful. Easy access to everything. Around the corner from the metro and right off Rock Creek Parkway. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and plenty of space.

Summary: Our family of seven spent a week at this perfect Woodley Park location. This cozy house accommodated our needs perfectly. It was very close to metro (you can walk to metro in a few minutes), delicious restaurants, and the zoo. You can get to all your locations around DC via the metro or by walking through quaint nrighborhoods. The house itself was perfect! It included many bedrooms with comfortable beds and many bathrooms as well. The kitchen was well stocked too. A working washer and dryer with detergent was available for our needs as well. Communication with Allen and Juliet was quick and detailed. Check in and check out was easy. We also used the parking available with the house which is a great bonus because parking in the neighborhood is hard to find. My family and I all agreed it was a great house and we would stay again. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Summary: My family of 6 spent 4 days at this listing and had a wonderful Christmas there. The check-in process was as easy as could be and, most importantly, the response of Juliet and Allen to any questions was responsive and thorough. The beds were platform beds and very firm to the point of almost being uncomfortable but we got used to them. The location was fabulous, the kitchen fully stocked with staples and cooking supplies, and there was plenty of room for a family of 6. One thing, however, was misleading. The property was described as having 2 private parking places attached to the house. This is misleading because the space is too small for 2 average cars and the cost is not included. All things considered, the property was very suitable for our family, and I recommend it to even larger families.
