Bearly Connected is a charming, upscale mountain home in the gated Yonahlossee resort community less than 5 miles to downtown Blowing Rock and about 5 miles to Boone. The Blue Ridge Parkway, The Moses Cone Manor, its walking trails, Trout Lake, Bass Lake, and the Hebron Falls Trails and bouldering area are less than 3 miles from this home!
The main level of Bearly Connected has an open concept great room, kitchen, and dining area with hardwood floors and huge windows allowing natural sunlight to flow inside. The kitchen boasts stainless appliances and is well-equipped to prepare and serve meals for a full house. The adjacent dining area accommodates 6 at the table and 4 at the bar, allowing comfortable indoor dining for up to 10 guests. The great room has tasteful leather furniture, a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning stone fireplace, a huge HD Smart TV, soaring vaulted ceilings, and a wall of windows framing wooded seasonal mountain views. There is a King bedroom suite with an HD Smart TV and a private ensuite bathroom with a large soaking tub and shower. The powder room/half-bathroom is also on the main level.
The upstairs boasts a huge private master suite with vaulted ceilings and large solid wood shutters that open to look down into the great room or close for privacy and minimal noise interference. This suite has a king bed, an HD Smart TV, a dormer desk and sitting area, a walk-in closet, and a private ensuite full master bathroom. The bathroom has a large his-&-hers double sink vanity and a jetted jacuzzi-style tub with a shower.
The lower level features the den and game room with a pool table, a small bar with a sink and mini fridge, a comfortable sitting area with an HD Smart TV, and sliding glass doors that lead out to a lower covered deck. There is also a queen bedroom with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a full bathroom, which is accessible from the bedroom directly and from the den/game room area. This bathroom has a tub and shower combo.
The main level rear patio has comfortable outdoor seating, a bistro table with an umbrella, and a gas grill. The lower rear deck has a lounging hammock where you can enjoy the mountain air and serene wooded atmosphere. There is a garage with parking for one vehicle out front, level with the front main entry, and two additional parking spaces in front of the garage and front door. Only 3 vehicles maximum are allowed, including the garage. Additional vehicles can park in one of the numerous guest parking areas or at the YRC complex, which is inside the gates, about 1/2 mile from the property. Bearly Connected also has digital cable TV programming, with YouTube TV, for viewing options, high-speed WiFi internet, and central heating and air conditioning for year-round climate-controlled comfort.
Guests of Bearly Connected have access to social membership amenities, which include the pool, game room, clubhouse, and social events! The indoor swimming pool, the fitness center, and the pickleball courts are all less than a mile away from Bearly Connected, inside the gated community and within a 1/2 mile walking distance. The indoor swimming pool and tanning deck is a wonderful feature. Please keep in mind that the amenities are only available during staffed hours, which change seasonally.
