Bucksport is 30 minutes from Bangor Airport, 40 minutes from Bar Harbor/Acadia, 30 minutes from Camden, Blue Hill, Castine and other lovely areas. Bella Cottage is only 40' from the lake in a pristine swimmable cove, yet only 15 minutes to the town Bucksport, with grocery store and restaurants. Fabulous views and all of the modern upscale conveniences for your comfort and pleasure. Three bedroom, 2 bath, single story cottage completely furnished, including all linens. The master and 2nd bedroom have a queen size bed (firm) and the 3rd bedroom has a futon that is converted into a full size bed. AIR CONDITIONING in the Living Room and Master Bedroom for your comfort, as it can get hot in the summer! Ceiling fans throughout. The cottage has WIFI for internet access and an incumbent bike for exercise on a rainy day. Front load full size large capacity washer and dryer for your convenience -- no trips to the laundry mat. Gourmet kitchen with new high end appliances including induction stove, oven, programmable microwave, dishwasher, Refrigerator, air fryer, iced tea maker, boiled egg maker, blender, toaster, toaster oven, tea kettle, Keurig coffee maker, lobster pot, cooking utensils, linens, etc. Living Room has AIR CONDITIONING, one wonderful comfortable LEATHER RECLINING couch and 2 recliners to relax at the end of a busy day. The living room has a Smart 65" HDTV with direct tv, DVR, DVD player, and surround sound for your pleasure. Master bedroom en suite has a ceiling fan, TV, new queen size firm bed, luxury sateen sheets, jacuzzi tub for 2, a separate shower, and dual sinks and AIR CONDITIONING! Guest room (2nd bedroom) has a queen size firm bed, luxury sateen sheets and a ceiling fan.. The 3rd bedroom is an office with a desk, a printer, a futon that converts into a bed, and an incumbent bike for exercise. The deck includes a table with 4 chairs, 4 additional light weight chairs that can be moved where desired, a new Genesis propane gas grill, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. Everything needed for a wonderful Downeast Maine Vacation! This is our 2nd home and we furnished it with the items for maximum comfort and convenience. You will not be disappointed. Minutes to downtown Bucksport where you have access to groceries, gas stations, restaurants and fun things to do, like seeing the Observation Tower on the Penobscot bridge, Fort Knox, and taking a movie in at a quaint 1920's local movie theater, the best old fashioned ice cream shoppe, good memorable restaurants, book store, fish hatchery, take a walk along the awesome walking trail on the waterfront, see the new Art Light House, Huckleberries gift shop, and sweet cheeks bakery. Be sure to see the grave marker of Colonel Buck on Main Street, where the legend says a witch burned at the stake said she'd leave a boot and a heart on his tombstone! The cottage is stocked with high end sheets and towels, plenty of linens as well as items such as hand soap, bar soap for showers, toilet paper, paper towels, k-cups, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and a few other such items for your convenience.
