Summary: We had a group of veterans and guys putting on an event in Durham and really enjoyed this property. It was convenient clean well stocked with very responsive host.

Summary: Our family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving to be with our daughter. The owner was eager to please and helpful, thank goodness she was because VRBO sent no check in or check out instructions. Although the house is loaded with things, it made it very difficult to have any counter or cabinet space for groceries. We spent the first half of our day emptying out cabinets and clearing off the counters so they were usable. No one needs 5 guacamole mortar sets or coffee makers. The kitchen and bathrooms were new and very nice but just way too much stuff put in them. The master bedroom had a great bathroom and closet but there was a king size and 3 queen size beds plus a double chaise lounge. You had to squeeze between the beds to get in one at night and there were no bedside tables. The owner had a few Amazon packages delivered while we were there so we collected them and put them in the garage with all of the other 50 boxes. After we checked out, we got several texts asking where things were. When they say the guest house they live in is way on the back of the property, well…it’s right outside the screen porch. The only thing separating the house we rented and theirs was the hot tub. Beware, there are cameras pointing at the hot tub and their cars are parked facing the hot tub not 6 feet away. Every time you enter and leave the house, the camera screams at you that you are being videoed. The house was comfortable and clean.
