Summary: This VRBO rental was perfect for our needs! It was modern, clean, and had everything we could possibly want, including a washing machine and dishwasher – a rare find! The bathroom was beautiful and the entire place was incredibly warm and cozy. We especially loved the sauna (which heats up to 50 degrees Celsius) and the infrared cabin (reaching 60 degrees). The host was super nice and helpful, even fulfilling a few special requests we had. The only minor drawbacks were that communication was only in German and sometimes a bit slow. Also, be aware that the pictures on the listing actually show three different rental properties. This particular apartment is the first one shown, with the bedroom and living room combined into one space and a red sofa. The pictures actually don't do it justice - everything was in much better condition than we expected. Overall, we highly recommend this rental! It's perfect for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay with some amazing extras.

Summary: Apartment 3 was the cleanest, quietest, and most well appointed VRBO we have ever visited. The grounds were immaculate, as was every aspect of the property. Located on the top floor, had a lovely balcony with an incredible view of the mountains. There was plenty of room in all parts of the unit, and the kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The location is ideal, just a short 20 minute drive to Salzburg. The owners are nice and extremely helpful. The only thing that I would wish is a bit stronger Wi-Fi signal in the unit. Being at the top of the building the signal would come and go and sometimes we had an issue maintaining a connection. We wish we could have stayed longer!!

Summary: We loved loved loved this apartment in this beautiful, picturesque small German town. Wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment was even more charming in person and we loved the view from the large balcony. It was very spacious with a well stocked kitchen and my children happily enjoyed the playground across the street. We easily walked up to the town church, restaurants and grocery store. The only hiccup was that I had to pay by bank transfer and my American bank charges a hefty fee for international bank transfers and an odd thing was the amount I transferred did not match the amount the host received. The host was very accommodating and allowed me to pay the remaining balance in person.

Summary: A charming apartment in a beautiful location. The owners were accommodating of our late arrival. The apartment had everything that we needed and it was a great place to relax and the end of a busy day. It was easy to drive into Salzburg and many of the surrounding sites in the area. The owners don't speak any English and our German is very limited, but we were able to make things work out. We would stay here again!

Summary: This was a perfect location, convenient to each of the locations visited by our family...Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, Chiemsee, et al...also near the autobahn. Very quaint village with a market and restaurant within walking distance. Friendly, helpful owners. Definitely recommend for couple or small family.
