Large, beautiful rustic chalet "Baita Fochin", 1'580 m a.s.l 2 storeys, detached, surrounded by trees and meadows. In the district of Piandelvino (Valdidentro) 6.5 km from the centre of Bormio, 34 km from the centre of Livigno, in a secluded, quiet, sunny position on a slope, along the wooded area, 2 km from the skiing area. Private: property 22'000 m2, garden (not fenced) with trees, meadow. In the house: sauna, storage room for bicycles, storage room for skis. 1.6 km long bumpy, narrow motor access, except in winter 1.6 km (via unmade road, mountain road). In Winter: please take snow chains. 1.6 km footpath to the house. Parking at the house, in winter 1.6 km. Supermarket 3.2 km, restaurant 3.2 km, bar 3.2 km, thermal baths "Bormio Terme" 7.4 km. Ski lift 2 km, gondola lift 2 km, slopes 2 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Valdidentro - Cima Piazzi- San Colombano 2 km, Bormio 6.5 km, Livigno 34 km. Hiking paths: Forte di Oga – Malga San Colombano, Laghi di Cancano – Monte Scale, Torri di Fraele, Alpe Trela. Please note: car recommended. Animals in the neighbourhood. This property is only suited for experienced guests: Water is heated in a wood fired boiler, it takes approx. 30 minutes until the shower can be used. During the winter months access only up to 1.6 km from the property (parking space available). Access to the cabin either on foot on a prepared hiking trail or on the proprietor’s snow mobile (free of charge on the arrival and departure day, additional transfers can be requested on-site and are charged with an extra fee).

On the lower ground floor: (exterior staircase) large living/dining room with 1 french bed (140 cm, length 200 cm), dining table and wood-burning stove. Exit to the garden, to the terrace. 1 room with 1 bed and 1 double bed. Large kitchenette (4 gas rings). Shower/bidet/WC. Heating. Wooden floors, natural stone floors. 2 terraces. Terrace furniture, barbecue, deck chairs (6), box-room. Beautiful panoramic view of the mountains, the valley and the forest. Facilities: children's high chair, baby cot, hair dryer. Summary: Cozy romantic chalet offering quiet stay away from crowds with a nice view. Brings you closer to old and rustical style of mountain living. Hosts are nice and very helpful. The Best location either for romantic stay away from civilization or for mountain sport addicts (skialps, hiking, mountainbiking..)

Summary: alles top, Inneneinrichtung sehr geschmackvoll, Sauberkeit top,Aussicht der Wahnsinn, mit 2 Hunden optimal Platz, Sauna im Wohnbereich ist super, Außenanlage sehr gepflegt, Liegestühle alles vorhanden, Außenküche sehr originell, Zufahrt allerdings mit unserem Allradauto machbar, für normalen Pkw nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, va. nicht tiefergelegt!

Summary: Wir konnten in der liebevoll eingerichteten Hütte von Caty und Ezio einen traumhaften Urlaub verbingen und haben die Auszeit genossen. Alles war perfekt! Die Warmwasserversorgung mit Feuerholz und das Kochen mit dem Gasherd waren kein Problem. Die Sauna und die große Sitzfläche im Garten mit Rundum-Panorama-Blick haben wir gerne genutzt. Die Vermieterin spricht perfekt deutsch und konnte uns tolle Tipps geben. Vielen Dank nochmals, dass wir unseren Urlaub in der Baita Fochin verbringen durften.

Summary: Wir waren 5 Personen mit 4 Hunden und haben uns in der liebevoll eingerichteten Hütte sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Besitzer ... haben uns herzlich empfangen und den Urlaub über betreut und uns gute Tips für Speiß,Trank, Wandern und Einkauf gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Die Hütte hat übrigens schon seit Weihnachten Strom. Nur für das Wasser und Wärme muss man mit Holz heizen, aber das gibt auch eine schöne Wärme. Noch einmal vielen Dank ...

Summary: Super Lage, super nette Vermieter. Im Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden. Die Holzöfen sind sehr leicht zu bedienen. Strom ist seit November 2018 vorhanden ! Reisetipps: Eine atemberaubende Gegend, leider sind im Mai die Pässe geschlossen.

Summary: Sehr liebevoll und funktionell eingerichtete, urige Hütte in Traumlage für Ruhesuchende. Alles vorhanden was man braucht, inzwischen sogar Strom! Die Holzöfen funktionieren gut, das Holz ist perfekt vorbereitet– kein Problem alles kuschelig warm zu bekommen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und stets erreichbar. Der Weg durch den Wald ist zauberhaft– aufwärts 45 min., abwärts 25 min ( im Schnee)– Schneeschuhe wären hilfreich!Sauna mit Schneebad und Eiswasserquelle hat Spaß gemacht!! Skigebiete mit Verleih schnell erreichbar, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen für entspannte Tage in wunderschöner Natur
