The holiday house QUELLENHAIN is a detached house with 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms spread over two floors. It is located in Steinaggertal directly by the stream. The nature reserve Puhlbruch with the forest nature trail starts directly in front of the house. New! (Opening July 2018) and thus both technically and by the equipment on the most modern state. Satellite TV in each room, large kitchen with dining table for 16 people. Free Wi-Fi, charcoal grill, free parking, outdoor terraces with table and chairs for 16 people. Children's playground with swings, 3m slide, 4 meter trampoline, outdoor XXL chess set, table tennis.
Detached holiday house built in 2018 at the state of the art. High quality materials, real wood parquet, natural stone (granite, slate). Very large kitchen with huge fridge and ice dispenser, dishwasher, induction cooker, convection oven, microwave, etc. Dining table for 16 persons. 5 bedrooms (maximum occupancy 16 people incl. Sofa bed use). Two bathrooms, both with toilet and barrier-free shower. One with bidet, the other with urinal and corner bath.
Ground floor: Large kitchen, dining area, TV corner with large, pull-out sofa bed. An accessible bedroom with double bed. An accessible bathroom with toilet, shower, bidet.
Laundry room with washer and dryer.
Upstairs: Two bedrooms each with double bed. Two family rooms each with bunk beds and pullout boxspring sofa bed. A bathroom with shower and bath, toilet and urinal.
No parties, no events allowed. Smoking only outside the house. No open fire, no candles or tealights! Youth groups not allowed. Families with children are welcome. Dogs too. Monteureambuchungen possible. Invoice is created.
For each guest (excl. Fitters) is a 2-hour free visit to the Monte Mare sauna area or a full-day stay in the indoor swimming pool Monte Mare Eckenhagen included.

Summary: We stayed at the house with 16 friends from Friday until Monday. The house is located within a beautiful area where you can hike, cycle or mountainbike. So if you can bring a mountainbike then definitely do that. The living room is big with enough seating for us all, the kitchen was at the right size as well. Outside you can sit on the porch even when the weather is not so good. We sat there during our bbq. Next to the porch is a big chess board that was used often as everybody found their inner Gasparov suddenly. There are some rooms with a double bed, some with bunk beds and one sleeping couch we used in the living room. All were fine to sleep on. Groceries can be done in the small town about 5 minutes away by car, except on Sundays (but that is normal in Germany I believe). We went paintballing at about 20 mins distance. On another day we went klettern or climbing in a forest climbing park. There are quite a lot of these in the surrounding area. Cologne is at about an hour drive and definitely nice to spend some time. If you're coming from far then the Bonn cologne airport is a good place to plan from. Altogether a very nice place, with a nice host as well. Arrival and departure went very smoothly and we had a good time there.
