Summary: We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and had a lovely time. The place is actually better than the pictures. Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise.

Summary: This was our second stay here, the previous approximately 2 years ago. The location is one of our favourite places in Germany. The appartment is first class. The family that own the appartment are very friendly and helpful. Anyone who decides to stay here will not be disappointed, the appartment is clean and spacious and very peaceful. Hope to return again in the future.

Summary: We spent 7 fantastic nights at Ferdihof and had a great time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our 2 year old son loved the freedom to run about and play on the garden toys, interact with the animals as well as paddle in the nearby lake. The apartment was perfect and had everything you would expect to have at home, we would not hesitate to go back again. Heirholz is located approximately 1 hour drive from Basel Airport. The nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes away in Sankt Blasien. There are many attractions nearby and `Ferdihof` is in an ideal location to explore the local area.
