Summary: The property was the perfect location - right on the water! Great layout for a large group. The property manager was very responsive and checkin/checkout was easy. The only downside was that the place could have definitely been cleaner upon arrival.

Summary: The property that this spacious house is located on is beautiful. The check in process was easy and host was easy to contact. Unfortunately, the house was in need of a deep clean upon arrival. When I reached out to the host, she offered to have someone come out immediately. However, we had already unpacked which would have made things uncomfortable.The owners did give us a credit for the cleaning fee which was a nice gesture. Hopefully, the property get some of the TLC that it deserves.we did enjoy our week on the lake regardless. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 2 families to spread out.

Summary: We stayed at this house with our married children and our grandchildren. Bev was always available to answer questions when I had them and very friendly. We had PLENTY of room for all of us. It had everything we could have needed and more. We cook alot and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We loved taking our kayaks out off the shore. The guys (and my grandaughter😊) caught ALOT of fish in the kayaks and off the dock. It was a favorite of any house we have rented and look forward to coming back. The grandkids and our kids have already requested it.☺️ Thank you for a great vacation!

Summary: Overall, our group (of 8 adults aged 49-85) enjoyed our stay. The location is truly outstanding! However, there were a few things that need some attention. The sauna at first wouldn't function. But, then a conversation with the owner helped us to be able to reset the heater (the reset button was almost impossible to find). There were no directions on how to do this at the unit. After the 1st use, the heater had to be reset after each subsequent use! Clearly, there is an issue with this rather old heater and it needs to be fixed or more likely replaced. We discovered a very bad spot of black mold in a closet where a wet mop and bucket were being stored (just outside the kitchen). The manager said they would come immediately to remedy it if we wanted, but we said fix it when we leave. Hopefully it is fixed before someone else uses the house! Black mold can be very dangerous. The steps leading up to the outside upper deck (above the garage) leans severely to the left and the entire staircase and deck look unsafe (and there were no chairs or tables or umbrellas up on it any longer). We felt that it is in dire need of attention. It is unsightly and/or unsafe. As others have noted, there are several light switches that don't seem to turn anything on or off, some that were installed upside down and/or backwards. Spring water tank and bottles were provided since the water at the house is not drinkable. It would have been nice to know that this was provided. We drug 5 cases of water to use during our week there. On a positive note, two wall A/C units have been added to the house. We weren't expecting that. SO, overall, a "mixed bag" of a stay. At this price point, we expected things to be a bit better. Hopefully, these things can be addressed so that this property can reach its full potential!

Summary: We loved our stay here. It had everything we needed for our family reunion: beautiful grounds on the lake, spacious house, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen. Contact with owner was always prompt and easy. We highly recommend this property!

Summary: Wonderful home on beautiful lakefront. Plenty of room. Our family of 10 adults and one infant had a peaceful and very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider returning here again.

Summary: Beautiful views, but some things surprised us at this price point: Immediately had to open all windows that had screens to air it out -- HVAC needed. Electrical issue in kitchen needs fixing. Water quality is an issue, since filtered lake water is used, but easy to solve with bottled water and owner did advise us of this at check-in email.

Summary: Large house with excellent view of Lake Champlain! Beautiful lot front and back. Even though there are houses next to you, it feels private. Lots of space inside for everyone. The temporary dock was nice but be aware that if you have balance issues this is not the dock for you. There is a cement ramp that also leads to the shore but it is a bit steep. The younger folks didn't have an issue but the older parents had to be more careful. We found several critters on the shore and even some seaglass! The shore and lake are both pretty rocky so make sure to bring your water shoes. The water was very clear! We caught a handful of small mouth bass fishing off the shore and the dock. On the inside it had everything we needed and Beverly was great at answering questions. The house is laid out very well. The telescope in the back living space was excellent! We saw three of Jupiter's moons and Saturn's rings one evening! There are several things to do only a few miles away or easily travel into the next town. A few observations: it needs a deep clean inside (it must be overwhelming cleaning a house this size every week), needs a few kitchen upgrades (diswasher/sink) and several of the lamps and light switches were a bit of a head scratcher due to the fact that they did not work. We enjoyed our stay here and would rent again! Thank you for hosting us!

Summary: The house was perfect for a large group of people and accommodated 10 of us nicely. Only problem was exterior entrance needed cleaning and inside could use a deep clean. Beds and bathrooms were very acceptable, and the kitchen was OK. Out side has not been cared for in a while. When it rained the gutters overflowed because they have not been cleaned out for some time. Plants were growing in them. The property is nice, the view wonderful. Some work would make this an A+ property.
