Positive: Nice location with the river flowing by.

Negative: The coffee should be the first thing prepared in the morning. The staff laid out all the breakfast fixings before finally setting up the coffee to brew.

Positive: Our stay at Valbona River Hotel was excellent. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing.The staff were professional, kind, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. The service was great, and everything was clean and well organized. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tropoja.

Positive: It was in a beautiful location, absolutely stunning next to the river. However even then there there was so much rubbish on the rocky beach.

Negative: We stayed for two nights in the suite with the hot tub and went for an all day hike to Maja Rosit and was hoping to come back to a cleaned room with fresh towels but they hadn’t cleaned. When asked they said they clean after two days - very strange for a hotel literally on the river. There was nowhere to really hang the towels to dry. Some of the lights weren’t working and the hot tub was in the living room so there was a fair amount of water on the floor beside it after using it. Also the mattress was the hardest I’ve ever slept on. Intermittent power problems and power and water was turned off or went off exactly 30 min before our check out.

Summary: Great location but service needs work.
