The holiday home Casa Nascente consists of an open living room with kitchen and a sleeping loft, as well as a bedroom and a bathroom. The house is attached to our own house and surrounded by gardens. In front of the door is a sunny south-facing terrace. In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth.
The location:
Our property is located on a hill overlooking the valley and is surrounded by cork oaks and pine forests. You can take beautiful walks in nature directly from the house. The first beaches and the wonderful nature reserve of the west coast are only 5 - 10 minutes away by car and can also be reached by bike. The two places Aljezur or Rogil are 5-10 minutes away by car and offer all necessary shopping facilities from the fish market to the supermarket as well as restaurants, banks and basic medical care. On the property we keep 2 cats and chickens, which are always an attraction especially for children.
We, Heike and Klaus Mader, have been living in Portugal since 1993 and will be happy to tell you which are the best beaches and the most beautiful excursion destinations.

The electricity and hot water supply is largely covered by self-generated solar energy, providing a sustainable stay.

Summary: Casa Nascente is a wonderful cottage with a very nice and cosy atmosphere. We felt immediately at home, thanks to the heartfelt hospitality of Heike and Klaus, who were always there to help and give us tips. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, Paco the donkey and the chickens and can only highly recommend this place. Thanks again to our fantastic hosts Heike and Klaus!

Summary: We had wonderful summer vacations in a cosy, stress free, no thrills home. With a good layout, very well located and above all quiet all day around, where you could experience the most beautiful starfilled night sky. The hosts were super friendly and always worried with our well-being. Highly recommended for families or single couples. Will return again, for sure.

Summary: We had very good experience at Heike and Klaus property. Communication was easy and they were always available for anything we needed. They even offered us a pack of eggs from their chickens. Expect great landscape around the house and Aljezur centre is not far. The house had all the commodities and it was super clean. Best place to relax. It was a very nice stay. Thank you!

Summary: This accommodation was exactly what we were looking for. Very comfortable bed, lots of indoor and outdoor space to relax in a wonderful country setting. Heike was an extraordinary host. She accommodated our late arrival, gave us tips for exploring the area and even provided treats from her garden. I would have Guly recommend this property

Summary: Very pretty property set in a quiet, rural location. Lovely gardens with lots of flowers. Extremely well equipped, light and comfortable. We really appreciated the vases of fresh flowers in the house on our arrival. The owners were most helpful and friendly. We would stay in this house again as we liked it so much.

Summary: We had never been to this part of Portugal and it was a pleasant surprise, a rugged picturesque coastline with lots of walks. We were restricted to how much we could do as we had our elderly labrador with us, however we were very happy to stay at the house and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Heike and Klaus made us very welcome and offered lots of useful local information to make the most of our week stay. Thank you both, especially for the fresh eggs, they were delicious.

Summary: This house is the perfect getaway. It is serene and peaceful, but close to several local beaches and within a short drive to the stunning cliffs in Lagos and the other cities along the Southern coast. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that I needed to prepare meals. Heike and Klaus were perfect hosts. I enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens and the oranges from the trees in the backyard. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Summary: We spent a wonderful week in Casa Poente. It is warm and clean and very well equipped. High ceilings, nicely placed lights, ample bedrooms… the atmosphere helps relax, rest and sleep beautifully. Outside in the porch is charming to have breakfast surrounded by plants or enjoy the fresh nights under a sky loaded with stars. The house is well located in the country, not far from Aljezur (a little isolated so you always need the car), and It is a good spot to visit the incredible beaches of the west coast of Algarve. Starting up in the north with Odeceixe (just in the border with Alentejo) which is also a very lively small village and going all the way down to Sagres. Several of them are within a distance of 15 km (Amoreira, Arrifana, Amado…) so every day we headed for a different one, and every day we had a surprise: all of them are beautiful. The water is cold, though, and it is better to check the tides … they go up so quickly! We recommend casa Poente for a peaceful vacation, the owner really makes you feel welcome. Thank you, Heike, for your kindness, good conversation and tasty tomatoes.
