In a typical Tuscan country house converted into a B&B, entirely renovated by Massimo and Loredana maintaining the historical characteristics of the house, we offer hospitality for your holidays. Vallacchi is dating back on the first half of century 18th and the farmhouse is located in the center of the Tuscan countryside: you can relax in our large garden and enjoy pleasant evenings, as well as visit the Tuscan cities of art and typical historic villages ( Florence, Chianti Area, Volterra, Vinci, Certaldo, Montaione, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, San Miniato, Firenze, Siena... ) . A few kilometers away you will find tennis courts, golf, a riding school, various playgrounds for children. At 1.5 km there is Corazzano, a small town where you can find the bank, the post office, a bar, a small grocery store; while at 10 km large supermarkets and all the shops you may need.
Our garden is completely fenced, there is a small playground for children, sun loungers and deck chairs with umbrellas, barbecue, ping pong table. Playing ball or football is not allowed. We have two female black Labradors and 4 cats. We are at your disposal for advice, curiosities, tips for buying typical organic products, indications on what to visit or even just for a chat. The parking is inside the property.

Summary: My wife and two kids had a lovely stay with Loredana and Massimo at their farm. It was exactly as expected. The pool was clean and plenty big enough for us. We went swimming in the pool at least twice a day, we are food grown at the farm, our kids fed the chickens and played with the two black labradors, we barbecued and drank good wine, and we explored nearby towns and cities as we pleased. A fantastic rustic Tuscan getaway to unplug.

Summary: Our stay at Massimo and Loredana's villa was the ideal retreat for a couple and a toddler looking to get away from a hectic working life. In the middle of the Tuscany countryside there's a real "get away from it all" feel which makes you relaxed from the moment you arrive. Massimo and Loredana were fantastic hosts and were always available to help. If you get the chance to try Loredana's cooking, make sure you do as the meal we had was amazing and would rival any restaurant. The apartment was spacious and had surprisingly good wifi (considering the countryside location) which allowed us to keep up with the family. The pool is in a brilliant spot for sunbathing whilst remaining enclosed and safe for kids to play. Our little boy loved the animals around the house and they entertained him all week. If you hire a car this place is the perfect location for exploring Tuscany. Not far from Pisa or Florence so an easy airport transfer and there are so many places to explore within an hours drive. Overall a really enjoyable stay that we would wholeheartedly recommend.

Summary: Four of us stayed in the smaller 2-bed apartment (Nespolo) - the interior is quite small and basic but perfectly functional (very clean, comfortable beds, water always hot) and there is lots of lovely outside space with a beautiful pool, table tennis table, places to sit either on your own or to chat to the owners or the other guests. Everything was surrounded by attractive plants and lawns that were well tended but not excessively manicured. We unwound completely while we were there, and in that frame of mind we did not miss a dishwasher or en suite facilities. There are lots of animals at Vallacchi, and while we were there we had good fun with the dog, with about 10 kittens of various sizes and enjoyed watching the hens with chicks. Even though we relaxed a lot in the evenings we did quite a lot of sightseeing, because Vallacchi is ideally situated for day trips. We went to Florence, Siena, Certaldo and Volterra, and there are other places (eg San Gimigiano, Lucca, the coast) within reach that we would have visited too if we'd had more time there. On the first evening we'd requested dinner and we had this in the owners' house, a lovely traditional Italian meal with wine whose grapes they had picked themselves. Massimo and Loredana are lovely people just to chat to, or to seek advice from about the region. You will need a car here, a 4WD would be best as the last mile to the property is an unmade road. We had started our holiday in Italy in Venice and after our stay at Vallacchi we moved on to Rome - this was an ideal rural break in between and I thoroughly recommend it

Summary: If you are looking for a peaceful, simple, relax place in Tuscan with easy access by car for differents places like Siena, San. Gimignano, Lucca etc you are on the right place!!! Nothing for people who look for luxury , just an amazing surround with a nice swimming pool and table tennis. A bucolic environment that connects us with the nature and make us fell in peace! Massimo and Loredana were always ready to assist her, and offer a fair price. We have been there 2 times, Nespolo apartment and we recommend :)

Summary: Everything has already been said. It is peaceful, quiet, simple, purely Tuscan - a retreat for relaxation and well-being. Of course, nothing for people who look for luxury, action and entertainment - no TV, no radio, no disturbing noises (apart from the occasional barking of dogs). Perfect for dog owners like us. We have come to Vallacchi for 17 years now and love this place!

Summary: We've been in Vallacchi for the first time in the year 2000 with our dog. Now we stayed here for the fifth time with our 13 year old son and our 6 year old daughter. Vallacchi is the perfect place for us to start our daily trips. It lies perfect in the middle of nearly everything you want to visit in the tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, Certaldo, Livorno, ... everything under one hour to go. On the other side it's in the middle of nothing - far away from the crowd of the touristic places. I've enjoyed our daily chating on the terrace with Loredana and Massimo. They really make you feel like family members. The house has all the things you need in your holidays - room to live, just beside a wonderful and beautiful nature. Of course there is no TV, no video games - no electronically holliday fun substitutes. But that is a bonus. Of course especially our 13 year old son was not so excited before. But surprise: I didn't hear "I don't know what I should do" or "it's boring" - not even for one time. The swimmingpool was the best place for our children. And the great surrounding area has done the rest. It's simply the best place for our little family. The first thing I've heard from the kids was:" Will we come back to Vallacchi as soon as possible?" Oh, I've forgotten to mention the animals: Nina (the dog), Mimi (the donkey), all the cats (and the babies) While all kids were playing with all the possibilities here my wife and I came really to relaxing. The WIFI (my personal advise is to use it just when it's really necessary) is working perfect: you don't have to login again and again P.S.: The answer to my kids question from above was: "Yes, I promise - as soon as possible" Grazie mille Loredana e Massimo

Summary: We were two families including 4 children (aged 7, 9, 11, 14) staying a week at wonderful Vallachi. The place was perfect in every sense and we felt warmly welcomed by our hosts Loredana and Massimo. It is located in a beautiful part of Tucany close to many great attractions (San Gimignano, Volterra, Chianti region, Florence, Pisa), perfect for daytrips. The appartment had everything we needed and was comfortable and cool during hot days. The garden is absolutely lovely. Our children loved the animals as well as the swimming pool. Moreover, if you want, Loredana can prepare dinner for you and we would highly recomment it, it was absolutely delicious. Overall, we would recommend this accommodation to anyone and would not hesitate a second about coming back another time.
