Summary: The only negatives we had were the kitchen is not well stocked. There were no dish clothes or towels. The can opener did not work. There were no hand mixer, mixing bowls and very few measuring spoons or cups, no cookie sheets. We purchased a new cam opener and hand mixer and left the there. The other kinda negative was the house has two rentals which we did not know. The bottom rental is not sound proofed and it sounds like they are in the room next to you. When the renters left they did not kennel their dogs so they were barking at the door.

Summary: The house is certainly large and fairly well situated. Lovely views. We had issues with beds not having top and bottom sheets, overall staging and cleanliness. May just be a cultural or communication thing. Attention to details was hit and miss. Did not cook or stay around much because we wanted to make the most of our time seeing as much as possible. I’m sure the owners are very nice people but I would not stay here again. The one earlier review that talked about things being dirty they responded that they had listened and hired a new cleaning service. They may want to consider doing that again.

Summary: This house was an absolute joy to stay at. The host was more than happy to answer all of our questions and willing to turn in the AC for us before arriving in the middle of a heatwave. Located near a main drive of Happy Valley with access to food and a way into Portland. Kitchen worked as expected, house was clean and sheets were fresh. Equipped with a TV, lounging and a card table. Quaint farmstock nearby and porch to view the surroundings. Rent this house, you will not be disappointed.

Summary: Very bright and cheery. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. Two full bathrooms a big plus! No backyard access for kids, but we would recommend this house.

Summary: My family and I had a nice stay at this house and it was an easy drive to and from various activities in Portland. I would stay again. The check in process was a breeze and the property manager communicated instantly.

Summary: Listen, I can overlook a little dust, or 1-2 things that might've been missed by a cleaning service, but this place wasn't vacuumed or dusted, the kitchen counters were dirty with spots and spills, the kitchen table still had crumbs left behind from the last visitor and worst of all, the bathroom floor had hair...up against the edges, on the baseboards, long black hair. Obviously, no broom, mop, paper towel or dust cloth had been applied to this place in weeks. Thank goodness the bed sheets and towels had been changed; it was conveniently located 1/2 mile from my sisters so we toughed it out for the weekend, only sleeping and showering there as needed. Honestly, I might actually book it again if they hire a decent cleaning service.
