Positive: We have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at No 6 Valley View Apartment. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Even though we were further out of the town centre than we normally stay it was still only a 10 to 15 minute stroll if you walked down the Cinder Track. I would definitely stay here again and would recomend to family and friends

Positive: Allocated parking for 1 car great quiet area, ease of walk into the centre of Whitby 15 mins , Supermarkets a 5 min drive away, hidden cinder track walk which is a lovely walk avoiding traffic (but descent is steep and steps uneven) Juliet balcony and having doors open on evening

Negative: master bed was not designed for a 6 foot 4 person, could easily fit a king size in the room and still have alot of space compared to the double bed in there storage space in kitchen limited if wanting to cook alot

Positive: Spotless, cozy and great location !! We had a great time! The flat is on the top floor so people with limited ability with steps could have an issue but all in all it was fabulous. There is a track in front of the of the property that takes you straight into Whitby by foot. This walk takes you around 10 mins and is all downhill, but on the way back it’s uphill so bear that in mind. Nothing to dislike about anything to do with the property and Whitby is such a beautiful place. Can highly recommend !

Negative: Nothing about the property , it was great! However the managing agent Sykes Cottages were extremely rude and unhelpful when I spoke to them before arriving. The guy I spoke with was uncaring and totally unhelpful with an issue I had, his attitude was arrogant and totally inappropriate . This guy is clearly in the wrong job and shouldn’t be allowed to speak to customers in such a way - a formal complaint has been made to Sykes!!!

Positive: If you know the cinder track into Whitby, the walk into the town is easy and a stroll, so although it seemed at first glance to be quite some distance out of the town, the location is pretty good and the price is excellent. We wanted for nothing while we stayed and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Negative: It's on the third floor, with luggage, that's some hike! It's not a problem with the property itself, but rather with Whitby in general, and there are no recycling facilities so I feel guilty throwing away something recyclable.
