Positive: The bed was amazing...let's start there... I slept divine!!! Excellent matras and organic duvet, super blackout curtains made it pitch black. No annoying red button on the flat-screen staring at you and absolutely no noise from neighboring rooms. I was on the top floor and the corner...maybe the room next to me was empty and that was the reason why...I don't know but I loved it. Everything you ever wanted in a (to me very luxurious) hotel room was there... Coffee, tea, tub, sauna, lots of lush towels, robe, slippers, mini bar etc... The room was also clean and had a balcony, which wasn't closed off from neighbors so I didn't dare to leave the door open at night, which I would have liked... Check in went quick and smooth and breakfast was a wide variety. Great access to public transport.

Negative: Not a lot...actually only 1 thing I always find a pity... In such big hotel chains you can make a real statement when it comes to organic or green solutions. So I still find it a bit of a bummer when the eggs they use are the barn or caged version (with a 1, 2 or 3 on 'em). You can buy eggs at the supermarket with a 0 that means organic...and with the profit these bigger hotels make, I think they can afford this. It's a little difference for them but a huge one for the chickens!! They can build a whole marketing campaign around it as well... Would be an awesome statement, vd Valk!!!
