Welcome to our tranquil holiday suite nestled in B.C.'s natural setting! Enjoy outdoor living, and spectacular city and ocean views from this garden level suite.
The master bedroom offers a queen bed & nice linens. The second bedroom has twin bunkbeds.The livingroom is equipped with free internet, a comfy couch & cable TV. There is a full bathroom & complete kitchen with a dining area that opens up to a private 500 square foot sunny deck. The deck is perfect for lounging or even a yoga retreat. Onsite activities include foosball, badminton and crochet.
Our home is situated at the end of the highest street (1,000 ft above sea level) on the side of Grouse Mountain. It is beside a forested park that has many hiking and mountain biking trails. The peacefulness of this place makes for a great yoga retreat too. The location allows for easy access off of Highway #1. A 5-10 minute drive will get you to Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge or Londsdale Quay waterfront shopping & seabus. A 15-25 drive will take you downtown, the ferry terminal or to numerous beaches. We invite you to enjoy this piece of paradise with the great outdoors & so much more at your doorstep! Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our time in North Vancouver at Iva's place. The neighborhood was quiet, and the unit had all we needed. Older furnishings and decor, but that didn't impact the comfort of the place. Bed is firm (but comfortable!) Easy communication with our host.

Summary: Iva’s place was clean and comfortable. The view was lovely. Parking was easy. There is a steep driveway and a flight of stairs, so do keep that in mind if you book. We arrived late in the evening. Iva gave us clear instructions to get in, and then stopped by to say hello in the morning. She gave us a few suggestions of places to visit and eat, which was nice. We would definitely stay here again

Summary: The hosts were very nice, and the apartment is good for people passing by and enjoying a small retreat with basic needs, but as we were with our 6-months old daughter for more than a week, it wasn’t the best experience as we are underneath the hosts and we could hear pretty much everything upstairs . We thank them nonetheless for their hospitality, but we recommend the place for people not travelling with babies or young kids who need to go to sleep early.

Summary: The hosts were great, great communication, very friendly and accommodating. The view is even better in person. The space was great for our family. The room with bunk beds was very dark and quiet, my 8yo slept great. The neighborhood is very nice and the location is great. We were in town for a hockey tournament at North Shore Winter Club, but also enjoyed the hiking trails right next to the house as well as Grouse mountain, Lynn canyon and Capilano, which are all less than 10 minutes away.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Iva & Steve’s guest house. It’s in a really green and enchanted part of North Vancouver with gorgeous views and beautiful bird songs. It’s small and cozy but the deck is expansive with a lovely garden. Iva and Steve are kind and friendly hosts that gave great tips for local things to do & see such as Deep Cove. We hope to return again.

Summary: My group and I had a great stay! Iva and Steve were lovely to meet and were very helpful and accommodating. The property itself had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable to stay in. The view from the property is beautiful!!! We really enjoyed seeing the sunsets from the deck. The location is also great if you want to be close to the city and close to nature! Overall, we have no complaints and would love to stay here again!

Summary: Very lovely apartment on the lower level of owner's house on a very quiet cul de sac. Very well appointed. But it is the views that are over the top. From the Eat in Kitchen , the living room (small but comfortable) and the main bed room you have a beautiful view of Vancouver, the bay, and Islands further out. Then there is the porch--relaxing there looking over the town/bay with a drink at the end of the day--amazing! The owners are lovely, responsive and very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. We will be back!
