Positive: Mr Witono and his wife were incredibly hospitable hosts who made us feel very safe, comfortable and welcomed and went out of their way to help us. There is not many food options around the village so they made home cooked meals for us for lunch and dinner which were all delicious. They even invited us to share a meal with their friends and family which was an honour and helped organise our transport to and from the property. The cabins were clean and comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep warm during the nights and there is a lovely sitting area in the garden to chill out with access to tea and coffee. If you want quiet relaxation with lovely views and surrounds this is the place to go.
Negative: Not a criticism of the property but worth noting, our Bromo hike unfortunately got cancelled due to fires on the mountain and we found there was not much to do around the area and had to chill at the accommodation for most of the day. That being said we could not ride scooters so if you can I’m sure there’d be much more to explore and it was still a very nice space to relax in.
