Positive: I liked the little room a lot, it might not have been spacious but it didn't lake anything and the view was amazing. If you can you should stay for a few days and enjoy the village and the surrounding area

Positive: What a beautiful place! It was absolutely fantastic staying up in the walled village of Marvao. Very nice, clean, comfortable accommodation and we enjoyed the view from our room. There is parking very close. Breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs as well as the continental. The owner is very hands on and always making sure that your needs are met. The restaurant where you have breakfast is across the street and has very good views as well. The streets are very narrow and quaint. It is so easy to walk around and up to the castle. This is a fantastic, intact castle with views going as far as Spain. I would definitely go back to Marvao. Give yourself at least 2 days so that you can explore and then just relax and enjoy the lovely gardens below the castle.
