Your Blue Mountains stay will be relaxed and comfortable as you’ll have this grand house all to yourself. Sleeping up to three couples in total comfort, the house has unsurpassed luxury and old world charm with the modern conveniences of today, all within a 200m stroll to the heart of Leura village.
The lavishly appointed and meticulously restored Edwardian residence is set on 1800 square metres of surrounding gardens. Built in the Federation Queen Anne style circa 1906, Varenna retains its original period features, such as leadlight windows, decorative high ceilings and an antique claw-foot bath (although you may prefer the double spa bath after a day of mountain activities!).
FACILITIES
Bedrooms
Varenna consists of four stunning bedrooms, all with their own theme. Two rooms feature queen-sized four poster beds while the third has a queen-sized brass bed. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. All rooms have the finest linen, soft lighting, electric blankets, fluffy duvets and windows draped in stunning curtains.
Bathrooms
Two bathrooms are available, the first bearing the original antique claw-foot bath tub and the second has the modern luxury of a double spa bath. Both bathrooms have sub-floor heating to keep your toes warm on winter nights.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, stove with gas cooktop and all the glassware, cookware, crockery & cutlery you’ll need. Three dining areas are available – breakfast, formal dining or alfresco with BBQ.
Other Features
The house is centrally heated throughout and a gas log fire adds a cosy ambience on cool nights. There is also reverse-cycle air-conditioning for year round comfort. Varenna also has a laundry with dryer/washing machine, iron/ironing board and laundry powder.
For entertainment, the lounge/dining room offers Foxtel TV, DVD player with DVDs, CD player & CDs, books and games.

Summary: Another fabulous weekend at Varenna Luxury! Lorraine organised christmas decorations, port, wine and chocolates, breakfast goodies, in-house spa treatments and in-house chef for a wonderful girls weekend getaway. The house is a beautifully restored true Blue Mountains home and we loved exploring the areas shops, gardens and cafes. Highly recommend!

Summary: Vareena is the perfect weekend get-away for either a couple or the entire family. Classic country decor, but with all the convenience of modern appliances. It was the best holiday we have.

Summary: LUXURIOUS OLD WORLD ROMANCE!!! More than met expectations. Loved all the finishing touches eg wafts of exquisite fragrance, beautiful tassels & ornaments. The lounge chairs were as comfortable as they were elaborate. We went to take our minds off troubling circumstances and were indeed transported to another time & place.

Summary: When i walk in i felt like a kid in a candy shop, i didn't know were to look first, i felt like a kid that had just been given the best gift, the house was so beautiful,warm,cosy,i just couldn't get the smile of my face, my husband was laughing at me. I didn't want to leave, i ask my husband to buy the house,it had every thing there, the kitchen was stock with all the food you needed, the port/chocolate was great,the bed you didn't want to get out. There was nothing you could have wanted for, maybe to stay longer. One thing i would say is to take a good book so you dont have to leave, well they have that to.Enjoy

Summary: With the hustle and bustle of life it is amazing to find a haven where you can totally unwind and refocus on the priorities in life. Vareena is a eutopia to escape to from life's stresses and to find yourself again. Once you step inside you are transported into another time to capture it's ambience and elegance of a period gone by. It is truely something to experience. We will definitely be returning!

Summary: What a delightful charming and comfortable venue to celebrate a special occassion such as my sister's big 50. The house has a beautiful feel about and this is enhanced by the thoughtful attention to detail making the house a welcoming home not just holiday accomodation.
