There is an easy, comfortable feeling about this 2 bedroom 2 bath vacation home. The private pool is heated for ultimate comfort, and can be accessed directly from the master bedroom. A Hot Tub sits just off the pool on a concrete patio . It is accessible from the pool and from the Home.
The open floor plan is light and bright with Mexican tile, terrazzo and laminate flooring for carefree living. Enjoy warm winters in your sun drenched Florida room or head out to the open patio and fenced back yard. The shady oaks offer the perfect canopy for outdoor fun. For the hobbyist, or for extra storage space, there is a sturdy workshop in the over-sized backyard that offers full privacy with extended fencing. The 12,000 square foot lot offers ample parking and plenty of “room to breathe”. The home is located in Venice Gardens, a designated bird sanctuary with numerous neighborhood lakes.
The home comes with central air conditioning and heat, ceiling fans, and large screened windows so you can experience some of the freshest air you can imagine. For your entertainment, there is a 42 inch TV with Amaxon Firestick, and high speed wireless internet.
The kitchen is furnished with essential cookware and tableware, electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The kitchen has ample cabinet and storage space, There is purified reverse osmosis drinking water in the home. During your stay, an experienced property manager will make routine visits to the property to maintain the pool and grounds. He will be available to answer any questions that you may have about the home and the area.
There is so much to do, see, and experience in Venice that it would be impossible to list everything here. There is something for everyone. Our immediate neighborhood, Venice Gardens, is an officially designated bird sanctuary. We have numerous lakes, and our own nature park and community center. Lake fishing is available. The neighborhood streets have low traffic volume which makes them ideal for strolls, bike rides, and dog walking.

Summary: We had an awesome time at this property. House was wonderful and grandkids enjoyed the pool. Hot tub was the best!! Area was great. We walked our dog every day and always felt safe. My only complaints would be towels were kind of ratty really need to be replaced and have more pool towels. Plus advertised heated pool but wasn’t heated while we were there in March. I was a bit disappointed. But I still think it was awesome and would rent again.

Summary: Property is very nice. Beautiful house. And who can resist their own pool? Quite a bit of traffic on the front road, but tolerable. Home is equipped with everything you might need. Very comfortable. Totally enjoyed my stay!

Summary: The house was perfect for us. Loved the heated pool. Nice yard. Very serviceable kitchen. Comfortable king bed. Easy drive to multiple beaches, dog park and downtown Venice. Plenty of nearby shopping. Would definitely stay here again. Rick is excellent host.

Summary: My Bichon and I spent 6 weeks here. The house is very comfortable. Comfy sofa, chair, mattress. My favorite room is the sun room. Each Friday and Sunday it provided a beautiful backdrop for my Zoom meetings. The owner went above and beyond by updating tv to include recording capability. The pool and yard are well maintained.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this well-laid out house. The pool was wonderful and the owner kept it warm and clean throughout our 2 month stay. Rick is always available for questions or problems (although we didn't have any) and friendly without being intrusive. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. Summary: We really enjoyed our recent stay at this "Venice Gardens Getaway". We had never traveled with our Bichon Shih Tzu dog and this place was perfect. It has a nice big, fenced in back yard where she could play and run around and she loved looking out the windows in front too. The pool was our get-away spot and it was great that it was heated which made it usable even during cooler days. We spent a lot of time floating. The kitchen appliances are very nice including the large washer/dryer and there was plenty of space. It was just the two of us with Lucy but we had relatives visit and the house holds 4 comfortably. The outside patio and grill are also nice additions and the carport is perfect when it rains. The place is located very close to beaches, stores, restaurants and Venice island so there are many things to do. Rick, the home owner, is very helpful and a great guy. You'll have fun staying here.
