3 Bedroom House in Hazelhurst

Fawn Lake Hideaway is a unique, lakefront home offering privacy with all the comforts of home. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor, a full bathroom, kitchen and dining area and a living room. On the lower, walk-out level is the third bedroom, another full bathroom, a family room, and the laundry area. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi service.
On each of the floors overlooking the water are screened porches. There is also a large deck with a grill and patio furniture, which overlooks the lake. This floor plan offers privacy for the families vacationing together or gives the children a little space of their own. Outside is a fire pit for your evening enjoyment.
We are located on a 'no wake' lake where the fishing is great. There is another lake about 100 yards away which also is a fine fishing lake. There is a row boat tied to your own private dock plus two kayaks for your personal use. We also have a boat on the nearby lake that you can use.
We have ten acres of woods plus we are adjacent to miles of state land, so the hiking and mountain biking possibilities are endless. About six miles away you will find the roughly 18 mile long Bearskin rail to trail area which is made of crushed stone and is an excellent place to walk or bike and enjoy nature. Relax at night with a nice fire in our firepit.
You can swim right in front of the cabin, where there is a sandy shore and a swim ladder on to the dock.

Summary: One of the best places in the northwoods we have stayed. Heard nothing but loons, eagles, and acorns falling from trees the whole time we were there. The lakes were beautiful. The house was beautiful and super comfortable. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

Summary: Overall was an amazing week at Fawn Lake. My spouse and 6 kids (6-16) kayaked and boated every day. It took a day to figure out the fish but when we did we caught quite a few 1-4lb bass. The littles caught tons of little bluegill. The fish weren’t biting on Lumen Lake for some reason, the other fisherman that I talked to said the same. Things that would make the place better would be, a little cleaner, less clutter in the kitchen cabinets, and a range hood above the range ( I can’t imagine cooking in the summer ! ) Would we come again? For sure!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Fawn Lake and would love to stay there again. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to easily cook meals. It was nice to have the kayaks and row boats to use. My teenagers enjoyed that! Fishing off the pier was great and everyone caught big fish. It was also nice to have access to the boats at the second lake. It’s a short drive to Minocqua and super convenient if you need to run into town. If you like cross country mountain biking, the trails right outside the cabin are fantastic and you can ride as far and as long as you’d like. I highly recommend this property!
