Summary: We just wanted a long weekend away, and this place was perfect. Well-equipped and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood with supermarket, stores, and lovely nature trails for long walks close by. 35 minutes to Slaughter Beach for an ocean walk, or a bit further to Dewey or Rehoboth. Nice to see lake water not affected by algae.

Summary: Of course the photo got me to look at the property and it worked. We spent most of our time in those chairs watching and listening to the Osprey. What I found odd was that there were no empty drawers for our clothing in the bedroom. The mixed towels were amusing and it took a little doing to find items in the kitchen, but we managed (and no liquid dish soap). No directions for using the TV. The owner might be concerned as the back sliding door does not lock and the 'stick' doesn't work. A suggestion, some people are allergic to scents, so all the fragrance wicks were really overpowering. It's usually the case that a few pamphlets or materials are provided to assist guests with options, but there were none. BTW we turned the canoe over as it was full of water ;-)

Summary: Property was just what we needed and a great location near our sport tournament venue. Weather did not cooperate, but property and lake setting would have been great on that front too for the kids Fenced back yard worked great for our dog. Would definitely consider again. Thanks!

Summary: The neighborhood was very very quiet and peaceful The home had a lovely view of the lake The home itself was clean with a few minor issues The dining area was not conducive to having an enjoyable meal and was more for a quick morning breakfast. The outside area could use updating and care Overall it’s a nice place for a short visit
