Negative: No cup for cup of tea - I brought my own thermos of soup so made a cup of tea in the thermos cup- no main light bulb- spa bath advertised but didn’t work. However it had a great heat pump - was warm and cosy

Positive: Very neat and tidy. The bread, butter and jam in fridge was an unexpected surprise, very nice touch, thank you. Plenty of milk for our drinks. We could self check-in which was also amazing as we are private people. The bed was so comfy, lots of blankets around to keep you warm regardless if in bed or watching television, the apartment felt like home-away-from-home. If I knew the hot tub is so private, I would have packed accordingly so we could have enjoyed a couple of hours in it. The whole apartment and hot tub setup is very neat and romantic to say the least.
Negative: Walking into a cold apartment. Was only 3 degrees out and heating in all rooms was off, we had to turn on as we walked through and it took a bit of time to heat up. If we stayed longer than one night I would have asked for tea towel to dry the dishes, I hate leaving dirty dishes in a sink. Couldn't find the hairdryer anywhere but because we still had 3 hour drive ahead it didn't bother me too much having wet hair on the way.
Summary: Great overnight stay!! Very private and good value for money!

Positive: Owners were very accommodating, felt like we were staying with friends rather than paying guests. Real attention to detail in the decoration, so many bits and pieces to look at. Super comfy bed, super comfy sofas. Rooms are at back of the house so zero noise except for birds. Large bathroom with spa bath. The town of Geraldine turned out to be a great choice. Awesome Military Museum, friendly people, great pub with great food.
Negative: Nothing, best place we stayed in by far.
Summary: Luxury at an affordable price.

Positive: Huge room. Array of breakfast items available in the fridge. Responsive host answering our queries. After hours, self check in. Spa bath. Heat pump. Wifi. Good price. Location was great, just off the main road. Ample parking.
Negative: Bed pillows and tea towel provided smelt fusty.

Positive: The spa pool and outside dinning area was lovely. The location is handy to town, but also away from the noise of the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and included lovely breakfast supplies.
Negative: I would love to see Booking.com pass on Self Check-In information 48 - 36 hours ahead of Check In. I find that 24 hours ahead of time (or less) is very inconvenient. But this is not a reflection on the Property where we stayed.

Positive: Geraldine was a perfect stop off and we had a pleasant evening there. The room was ok, I did feel I was in someone’s room! It certainly wasn’t typical of an overnight stop. Tea and coffee available and a family fridge which we popped some stuff overnight.
Negative: The pillows and the towels!! Could do with an upgrade maybe?
Summary: A good one night stop over and we did meet Paul briefly.
