Positive: The location, comfortable bed, very good food. Clean room, good hot shower (to be let to run for a bit as the water comes from a solar heater). The last 6km to reach the place is unpaved, quite bumpy road but worth to be drived

Positive: The location is beautiful, rooms are fine, the guy who cleaned the pool was super kind.

Negative: On the day before we had to arrive, we were moved from their Mbita branch to the Takawiri one. However, we had to pay ourselves for the additional costs for the waterbus. The food was good but took forever!!! So order at least 2 hours in advance. The staff (apart from who we called pool guy) was mostly just chilling with each other. The guy behind the counter didn’t even see I was waiting at the counter because he was on his phone. It seemed very disinterested mostly. Our waitress was mostly okay until we asked why our food was taking so long.

Negative: The tiles at the bathroom are slippery. Changing them to rough would be more safe and not life threatening.
