Welcome to The Fishery river house, located in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge! Eleven acres for you to enjoy, convenient to all of the fabulous things that the Gorge has to offer!

Our Home—
This lovely 5-bedroom/3 full bathroom+loft home has plenty of room for family and friends. It has an open floor plan for entertaining. There is a big, beautiful deck with a panoramic view of the river and the mountains. Perfect for hanging out and soaking in the views. Also, a fire pit out back for keeping cozy at night.
The kitchen is fully equipped with extra amenities such as a slow cooker, food ninja, electric kettle, keurig, coffee pot, and a convection oven. You will feel right at home with all we have to offer!
Downstairs there is a full bathroom with double sinks, a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a private bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and the third bedroom is a king.
Upstairs there is a full bathroom, one king bedroom, and a bedroom with a crib/toddler bed and a twin bed. There is a nice wet bar in the loft that features a wine fridge, sink, and a full sized bed for more guests.
Plenty of toys for the little ones, pack and play, high chair, stroller, and mamaroo swing.
Our Area—
We are located between the magnificent Cascade Mountains and the Columbia River, about a mile from the historic highway. It is 5 minutes from Multnomah Falls and all of the hikes and the spectacular waterfalls. Also located within 10 minutes of Cascade Locks/Stevenson, Bridge of the Gods, local breweries, restaurants, grocery store, and the Bonneville Dam and fish hatchery. 25 minutes from Hood River where there is world class kiteboarding and windsurfing. One hour drive will get you to Mt. Hood where you can snowboard and ski to your hearts content and still get to enjoy the spectacular river views by sunset. The airport (PDX) and Portland area is about 35 minutes away.
We are an operating boat launch and have multiple docks and two boat ramps on site that you can conveniently launch your boat or jet ski. You can fish right from the property and we have a fish cleaning station for cleaning your catch!When the water is low there is a lovely little sandy beach that we enjoy with the kids. If you’re feeling adventurous there is a bigger beach a little trek through the trees or down the creek trail that is fun to explore and relax at. You can see it if you look up river from the east ramp. Our location on the river offers so many other fun activities including: boating, fishing, kite boarding, wind surfing, paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking. There are so many enjoyable activities here in the gorge and it is becoming quite the popular place to be!

Summary: Wow where do I begin. We received an email about the increment weather and that the house would be available before check-in on the date of arrival. Thank you for that. Due to weather, we were essentially iced or snowed in. For the few people that were brave enough to walked the property, they described it as BEAUTIFUL and could only imagine what summers would be like. The house was well equipped with everything you would need from items in the kitchen to the availability of games. There were item left in the freezer when we arrived but we discarded them when we left. The previous guest may have left them. The only minor issues we had which was out of the host's control were the cable(but we understand because of the weather) and train which we became accustomed to quickly. We would definitely like to come back especially in the summer. Thanks again for opening your home to us for our Christmas Holiday. Cheers, Michelle

Summary: We had a wonderful family gathering, with great walks with our dogs along the Columbia River! Only issue was trains blowing their horns but that was not too bad. Worth it!

Summary: We were pleasantly surprised to arrive and the house was beyond what we expected ! Lovely home and very well equipped. It was a very pretty and peaceful spot. The frequent trains weee a surprise however we liked hearing them. The location was wonderful for both hiking, wine tasting and fishing. The host was very responsive to questions we had and made us feel welcome. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area 😀

Summary: We all had an amazing time! The host responded immediately to and questions we had. The house comfortably accommodated 10 people, and the layout was perfect. The river level was very high, so we all layed around on the docks, attached our floaties, and had a great time. When the river is low, there is as sand beach, so we will be most definitely be back to enjoy that. The kitchen is huge, so if you are celebrating a special event and plan to cook, this is perfect.
