Positive: Viktor has created a wonderful place where everyone feels at home, including his dogs. The rooms are simple, but you have everything you need. He puts a lot of effort into everything and we often drank coffee and ate fresh papaya with him in his garden. He makes you feel welcome and treats you like family. We would love to come back!

Positive: Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautifully designed, castle-like home stay. Victor has maintained brilliant facilities and has created a comfortable accommodation. Luckily, we were able to extend our stay for the Filipino fiesta which Victor included us in with the locals. This was the best experience of our trip, thank you Victor!! Everyone must stay here, it’s a peaceful setting with amenities close by and a really welcoming neighbourhood.

Negative: Just note, you do require a motorbike to access siquijor.

Positive: Victor was a lovely host, always kind and talkative and offered fruits and juices upon arrival. The property has a cool homemade feel and was only 20 minutes from the ferry, though it was around 50 minutes drive to San Juan to any restaurants, a bike is recommended as it is nice and secluded if you’re looking for a nature off the grid feel.

Negative: We did however book here during peak summer, so if you do, prepare to be very hot to sleep at night, with the tin roof and no air conditioning it stays pretty hot in the room, too hot to be in during the day. The shower could use a bit more pressure but the water was nice and filtered.
