Positive: The layout of the property was amazing, and the host, along with all the staff involved, were very helpful and accommodating to any queries or anything we needed. The pictures and description dont do it justice. It's even more beautiful in person, and the surrounding area is picturesque. We were a group consisting of 7 adults and 2 infants, and what I found amazing was that there were several areas you can gather together, or if you feel like it, you can find solitude or privacy. The kitchen and outdoor bbq area was fully equipped, and we were able to find everything we needed. The pool was a good size and was always at the perfect temperature, even in the blistering heat. It was everyone's favourite place to be during the day. And the hot tub was a hit in the evening.

Negative: There's not much to say here. The dogs from the neighbouring property were a bit annoying at first, being a little hostile to any vehicles and, at times, blocking the road. Towards the end of our stay, they were less bothered by us and did move out the way.

Positive: Staying at the Vila Dria was a highlight. Already by booking the expectations were big, but the reality was even better. Beautiful location. It does take some time, ca. 30 min to the beach, but you have your privacy, almost lost in endless orange and lemon plantations. A supermarket is about 10min away, as is the best restaurant of the area: o barradas, highly recommended. The description of the Vila was 100% true, everything there, you name it. We were very pleased to find on arrival in the kitchen basic food and drinks. During our 1 week stay the Vila was cleaned once and the pool twice. Overall we had a great vacation and would love to come back someday.
