Positive: It was the most relaxing holiday, the location is ideal for a lovely relaxing time in fantastic surroundings. Max and his Mum & Dad are a wonderful family who own the property, but make you feel totally at home whilst you are there, You will certainly need a car. We drove there from where we live in Spain. ,There is plenty of parking on site. The rooms are lovely, the facilities are perfect, and I would certainly stay again if visiting that part of Portugal.

Positive: We stayed 6 nights, the place is beautiful, the swimming pool is very nice as well. Everything like on photos. The hosts were also nice. There is a private parking which was very important for us.
Negative: Unfortunately there are few things for which we decided to give a lower score. - POWER OUTAGE + NO WATER- this was a huge problem for us. The worst is that when there is electricity down, somehow there is no water either, no cold even. First time it happened in the middle of the rainy day, we contacted the host, she said it’s because of the rain and it happens. We said we need to take showers before leaving and we were offered a refreshment in a salty swimming pool instead. Anyway after more than an hour the electricity came back. Same day on the night we arrived after spa and pool and all we wanted was to shower and sleep. But again (no rain this time anymore since half day) power outage, but this time much longer. We were waiting 2 hours to take a shower, clean teeth etc. until 1:30 am but electricity didn’t come back, so we were forced to use bottled water in total darkness to do basic hygiene before sleep ending up not having water to drink. Next morning we realised our devices are not charged at all, so the outage was very long. If problems like this happens often then hosts should invest in generator, cause we felt like on camping which for the price is not acceptable. - not enough hot water for 2 ppl - no sockets next to bed night tables, only on one side of bed. - Although the place looks freshly renovated we were surprised that the room feels a bit more like for one person, meaning there was only place to hang one big towel after shower. Place for hand towels, also only one. - breakfast first of all could be a bit more variety. There was "fresh" bread everyday which we suspect was just frozen croissants/bread from aldi/lidl, which means not the best quality. And there were hard boiled eggs, however every morning the egg yolk was green, meaning cooked too long. - location, it is more than 30 min from main beaches as the road is not very good. - no restaurants nor facilities nearby like shops, pharmacy etc, which feels a bit to much...

Positive: The B&B is new, so all the furniture and bathrooms are new. It has only 5 rooms and huge very well kept garden, lots of privacy and quiet. It has very big swimming pool and enough lounge chairs around it. The B&B is located very centrally, only 30min drives to small picturesque towns like Loule or Ferragudo, also the beaches. The neighbourhood is very quiet and house easy to find. The breakfast was excellent! There was oven fresh dark bread and white bread, mini-croissants, local fruit, egg, even lactose free yogurt. The hostess is very kind and welcoming. She takes very good care of her guests. I think you get very much for your money. Highly recommend!
