Positive: The variety of activities from water activities (swimming, snorkeling, diving), excursions (whales/turtles/mantas/sunset excursions), the private dinner on the beach option with a personal chef, the swimming pools, the close proximity of the beach to the room. The variety of the menu for the main meals (dinner/bed and breakfast), the snacks available in the bar. The all-inclusive package was absolute value for money. Wi-Fi worked well. The convenience of a spa, swimming, snorkeling and diving excursions amongst others, makes this a fun, relaxing or active holiday as you desire. The food and beverage menus are tasty, a variety and of good quality and quantity.
Negative: This was our second visit in a few years There was so much improvement in the facilities with an extended deck area for outside meal enjoyment, lazing around and also a bigger variety of beverages and meals on the package.

Absolutely stunning location, the most amazing staff, food to die for, and the oceanโ€ฆ oh my gosh our dives and the dive shop took the entire experience to another level! Loved this place! Everything is clean, enhances and blends into the natural surroundings, and truly makes you feel like youโ€™re in a tropical paradise!
Negative: That itโ€™s so far away from our home! I wish we could come several times per year.

Positive: This was the second time we visited Vilamendhoo. This island is the paradise but itโ€™s affordable when it comes to the Maldives high prices. The rooms are fantastic and the service is flawless. The house reef is definitely worth it and you can see a lot. Ocean discovery full day trip is recommended.

Positive: We stayed at Vilamendhoo one week and we had a great time! People were really nice and helpful everywhere. We enjoyed the all inclusive package (definitely worth the price!) and all the included activities (kayak, windsurf, tennis and the sunset cruise where we spotted dolphins). We also did the the whale shark excursion and we managed to see a whale shark, amazing! Definitely recommended!
Negative: One night we found 4 cockroaches in the room, even in my luggage. How they managed to get into our water villa is still a mystery. I can accept wildlife, given that we are on a tropical island, but cockroaches are really not ok. If the hotel is aware of this, it should inform and advise the guests on this potential issue (for example saying not to leave open luggage on the floor etc..). Despite this inconvenience, the staff was very helpful and reacted quickly. We also had a rough experience in our way back to Male airport, even if it's not really Vilamendhoo's fault. We boarded the first seaplane of the day (at 6am), confident that we could be at the airport way in advance for our flight at 9.40am. However, the seaplane made few stops on the way and it took almost 1 hour and half to reach Male (compared to the usual ~25min)! After that, the airport was a complete chaos with queues everywhere and we almost missed our international flight.

Positive: We had an amazing staying. The room, the beach, the reef, the staff, the trips were all great. Our experience with the diving centre was amazing, so was the guest service which was really fantastic throughout the holiday.
Negative: The candle light dinner looked it had been improvised a bit. Little variety of food at the buffet restaurant. The beach outside our beach villa was always in the shade so we had to drag the sunbeds a bit far to be in the sun. The staff at the restaurant was not very professional we felt.
