Summary: Renting this property was an absolute pleasure. Communications with the owner before and during the stay were spot on. The house itself was very nice indeed with plenty of room for the 2 families (7 people) staying there. The large swimming pool was an absolute god send in the 38°c + weather of our first week.

Summary: The house has all the facilities you need to have a fantastic break with family or friends. The pool was fantastic, there were different areas to move around (shaded or not) and with lots of seating inside and out you don’t get bored of your surroundings. Having Prune the cat around was great as she’s a real character and appreciates attention. The kitchen has all you need to cook fantastic food and there’s a leclerc 15 mins away that’s the biggest supermarket I’ve ever seen. There’s a great bistro up the road at Saint Aubin village and you are only 25 mins from Lacanau, Carcans or another 15 and you are down Cap Feret eating Oysters on the Bay (Cabane 24 was particularly stunning) 15 mins to the park and tram gets you into the centre of Bordeaux which is beautiful. Philippe the host is very helpful and was great at responding to anything we needed etc. All in all a fantastic place in a great location ....
