The apartment is located on the ground floor of a villa from 1908. From the entrance area with a hallway (oak parquet) the kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom go off. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a small family needs. Electric stove with oven, refrigerator, freezer with 2 compartments, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine with dryer, plate cups and everything you would expect in a kitchen, but no microwave.
The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with a bench, there is also a bathtub, a hand wash basin and a toilet. The living room and bedroom are connected by a large, massive, two-part sliding door. This is still in the original, from 1908, as is the oak parquet and the stucco ceilings. Bedroom with double bed (180x200) desk and wardrobe. In the living room with dining table and 4 chairs you will find a large couch that can be transformed into a sofa bed in 2 easy steps. (for max. one additional person or 2 children). There is also another couch. For (small) children there is a baby bed and the couch with sleeping function in the living room.
From the bedroom there is an exit to a small terrace, which is adjacent to the landlord's terrace. Smoking is allowed out here.
The apartment was extensively renovated until mid-2016, walls, ceilings, stucco, etc. The bathroom and kitchen have been completely redesigned or renewed.

Unless otherwise agreed, the apartment can be occupied from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be swept up to the landlord by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Summary: We loved the charm and cleanliness. Everything one could want is provided for. We even had flowers to greet us. It is very quiet and close to the woods and the lake. Potsdam and Berlin are both within easy reach by train or by car. This is definitely one of our favorite places to stay in Berlin.

Summary: Wonderfully peaceful location, within a short walk to the S-bahn. Excellent communication with Christoph. Very comfortable and spacious apartment, we slept well and late! Some very useful guidebooks and maps in the apartment. Perfect for a couple, highly recommend staying here. Centre of Berlin so easy to get to with the peaceful surrounds of the Wannsee to return to. Would definitely try to stay here again.

Summary: We have just returned from a 4 night stay in this stunning flat which is part of a beautiful house in Wannsee. The renovation/restoration of the flat has been very tastefully done, with all the modern conveniences that you need. Situated in a quiet leafy street but only minutes away from public transport hubs, trains, buses and ferries. The railway station has links to Berlin and farther afield. Whilst there we went by train to the city, local bus trips and had 2 lovely boat trips from the pier just minutes from the house. We liked being able to get into the city so easily but stay in a quieter area. Christoph the owner is a most charming and helpful host and couldn’t have done more to ensure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We highly recommend it and hope to return to explore even more of this lovely area.

Summary: Very spacious and beautiful apartment with a little garden. The are is quiet and very suitable for families or if you just like to not be in the centre of everything. Very good public transportation, offers train to the city in five minutes walk. Takes about 20minutes to reach ZOO with direct line. The host is very kind and is ready to guide in any way he can. Highly recommended!
