Positive: Fantastic place run by a young couple, who are very devoted hosts. They welcome you with little gifts, show you all the area around the house as well as send you all information about what to visit and where to eat. They are very kind and helpful. In the morning you are served a breakfast on a little terrace with a mountain view, which is lovely. Breakfast is of Italian style, with home made cakes or waffles, fresh made coffee and a lot of sweet snacks to choose. There's also fruit (if you're lucky you get a mango from the host's father garden:), muesli, yoghurt and juice. The pool is a few steps up the hill. It's big enough to swim and with wonderful mountain view. There're many sunbeds, beach umbrellas, tables and chairs so there's a lot of space for relax. The area is quiet and peaceful except for the sound of donkeys grazing on the nearby hill and birds singing. The location is very good if you want to stay in a peaceful area but on the other hand you want to visit places like Taormina or Savoca. I very much appreciated mosquito nets in all the windows (at night we turned off the air conditioning and slept with an open window).

Negative: If I were to add anything I'd put some shelf in a bathroom and a hanger for towels next to the shower and the washbasin. In the room I'd add a dresser with a few drawers. Perhaps also a little kettle with a few cups in each room would be a good idea.

Positive: Amazing hosts and a very quiet place. A very recent house, so the bedrooms were perfect and lovely. Great swimming pool and surrounding area. The terrazza for the breakfast was very nice.

Positive: We loved staying at Villa Aura. The room was spotless with everything that’s needed. The pool area was gorgeous with breathtaking views. The property has been recently renovated with very well thought details and private parking. The hosts are professional and very nice who made sure we have a wonderful stay. Positive: Location- beautiful surroundings in a calm setting. Convenient for visiting Savoca, villages around and seaside and beaches (10’ drive) and Taormina (30’drive). Accommodation- they have a perfect sized pool with lovely mountain view. Newly constructed B&B, with lemon/ avocado/ palm trees in the court yard, parking possibility, it’s a family businesses with amenities and attention to details for guests. Room- very spacious, comfortable, air conditioned and extremely clean, our room on 1st floor had direct access to the terrace where the breakfast is taken. Breakfast- even though it was mainly an Italian breakfast, more on the sweet side, our hosts were very receptive to our needs and integrated some savoury items for us. Every morning we had freshly baked goodies by the host and as much as possible local sourced food or even fruits from their garden. Staff- the cherry on top of the cake, lovely family with many thanks for their attention to Iris and Dani who welcomed us with local cookies, offered advice on the best places we could have lunch/ dinner and advised us on our touristy questions. True immersion in Sicilian vibes.

Negative: The Address on Gmaps/ Waze does not correspond to the location which is about 500m further. Even though the number is the correct one, it must be just a mapping issue. However the hosts were super proactive and immediately shared with us the live location and shared more details on how to reach the address.

Positive: We were very happy to stay few days in this little paradise - away from city center, surrounded by tranquility, greenery and sounds of birds. Enjoyed the daily cleaned cozy room and crystal clear water in the pool, breakfast in the terrace - loved delicious coffee and homemade pancakes. Iris, Danilo and their family are very kind-hearted people and will do their best to make you feel comfortable. Thank you again for a lovely stay!
