Positive: It was the most beautiful stay of my life. The scenery, the decor, the delicious breakfast, the hospitality of Marco and Louisa, learning about the Roman tombstone in the villa garden, all of it was spectacular. The villa has so much artwork and beautiful books. The kitchen always had some delicious food to eat, and we definitely felt at home while staying there. I can't wait to go back!

Positive: This was a highlight of our two week trip traveling around Sicily; Villa Britannia is a treasure, overflowing with a fascinating literary history, and with only two rooms, you can almost trick yourself into thinking it is your own private Villa on the Taormina hill side. The terrace of the Truman Capote suite was delightful, superbly comfortable. Villa Britannia is just far enough away (15 minute stroll) from the tourist crowds in a largely residential area, with excellent parking. Great communication and hospitality from Louisa, Marco and their team. A special place.

Positive: I enjoyed my stay, I felt like I was a guest in Louisa and Marco home. The Villa has a history and the gardens and home are beautiful. It in nestled in the hillside of Taormina with a view of the sunrise while enjoying a breakdast prepared just for you, while you enjoy the views of the ocean and hillside town. It was a 10 to 15 minute walk from villa to palazzo. the walk gave me a change to see more. I would recommend the rental to a couple or family I absolutely loved it!!! Louisa and Marco thank you both for all the assistance and the Memories , grazie ciao bella ❤️

Positive: What an amazing place to stay, you are made feel welcome from the beginning to the end, everything was perfect. The views, the rooms, the deck, the gardens, all very well presented. Rarely do you get to stay in a place that feels just like it was made for you.

Positive: Beautiful spot full of charm and history only a few minutes walking from the busy center of Taormina. The place is very quiet and peaceful.Louisa does everything to make you feel good about your stay starting with a delicious colazione on the terrace facing the garden and views.

Positive: We visited Taormina and stayed at this beautiful house in early July. The house and the garden are even more stunning in real life, and it's perfect for a family. We traveled with two children aged 10 and 14. The host, Louisa, offered us a 5-star treatment and helped us with booking restaurants, beach clubs, and assisted with everything we wanted to know during our stay. She was always available with the best recommendations. We were there during the Taormina film festival, which is a rather busy time of year. However, Villa Britannia is a quiet oasis away from the crowded areas, and it's still just a very short walk to the center. We completely fell in love with Taormina and Villa Britannia. Louisa went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home in her amazing house and hometown. We will definitely come back and choose Villa Britannia over any 5-star hotel. Louisa's hospitality and the beauty of the house and its surroundings have left a lasting impression on us.

Positive: Perfect location- on a quiet street, a short five minute walk to the center of town. We parked our car in the garage provided (located in front of the villa) and walked everywhere. The villa exceeded our expectations- Clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable with amazing views of the sea. The villa also has a lovely garden with a lemon tree and a tree swing! We did yoga in the garden, enjoyed drinking coffee on the upstairs porch and cocktails and dinner on the large downstairs porch. All the porches have amazing views of the sea. The kitchen is well equipped with pots/pans and cooking utensils. The amazing hosts, Marco and Louisa, took great care of us. They helped us with our bags, gave us wonderful dinner recommendations and coordinated transportation to and from the beach club. It felt like a home away from home. Housekeeping was also provided daily. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out with the entire villa to ourselves!

Positive: The property has been thoughtfully decorated and exudes a relaxed homely yet sophisticated ambiance. Our hosts Marco and Louisa were very welcoming and hospitable throughout. We saw them at breakfast each morning, and we saw the other 2 guests occasionally, but mostly we had the whole place to ourselves. Great location, just a short 10 minute walk to town, and quiet with secure parking. We'd love to stay again.
