Negative: You have to rent a car. Walking along the road is hazardous and the edges of the road are overgrown and cluttered with ruts and parked vehicles.

Positive: The location is excellent for fishing or diving purposes. It only takes about 10 minutes by car to visit the downtown area. The room that we were assigned had an upstairs covered gazebo/open air type of patio where you could sit and enjoy the sunset and breeze. The room was very clean and was very comfortable. The owner/manager Tanja, is extremely nice and accommodating.

Positive: Pool, garden and hangmat were amazing! The hotelroom has everything you need, kitchenappliances, and a very nice bathroom. Also there are beachchairs and a coolbox for the beach.

Negative: There was no wind on the island, but the hotel was perfect

Positive: We loved our stay at Villa Corina. Tanya was a very gracious host, helping us with trip planning, settling in, and departure. She had great references for local car rentals, dive shops, restaurants, and even wing foil instructors (Charles Dasher, excellent teacher). Our apartment was clean, nicely appointed, and the overall site was well-landscaped and welcoming (beautiful pool and elevated patio overlooking the island). She took the extra steps of doing an initial refrigerator stocking for us since we arrived on a holiday. Overall we highly recommend Villa Carina both for the physical layout of the apartment, and particularly for Tanya's hospitality.

Positive: Tanja is the most fantastic host. The property is superb, it is super clean, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. Tanja has thought of absolutely everything from start to finish. Her communication is super, there was nothing she wasn't willing or able to help us with. The room and garden are beautifully cared for and decorated, the bed is beyond comfortable, the location is great for chill out days, the pool is an added bonus with the beach a short 5 min walk. Honestly, would stay there again in a heartbeat. Excellent host, excellent accommodation, 11/10!

Positive: My wife and I had the best time at Tanja's place. Everything was clean and maintained well. Beautiful garden and nice pool. Really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. Short drive to Kitesurfing and diving sites. Tanja was a great host and allowed us to check out late. We will definitely stay at her place again on our next trip to Bonaire.

Positive: If you're planning a trip to Bonaire, Villa Carina is undoubtedly your top choice. It's a truly picturesque and serene destination with modern facilities. Tanja, the host, is exceptional—warm and attentive to all guests. My wife and I spent 11 delightful days there, thoroughly enjoying our stay. The pool area is stunning, and the dedicated space for divers to clean their equipment proved to be highly convenient for us. We're certainly looking forward to returning!

Positive: Villa Carina is an absolute relaxed place to stay! Only 4 appartements, so pretty quiet (most of the times you have the pool to yourself!). It has everything you need including all kitchen supplies, beachchairs, coolbox and beach umbrella. It’s great to be able to cook outdoors (if you feel like cooking). The new owner Tanja is great, very friendly, helpful and ready to make adjustments to make your stay even better. And as an extra bonus, there was Ziggy the cat! He is so sweet and just takes a nap on your lap. We definitely recommend staying here! (We have travelled to Curaçao and Bonaire several times, so we are seasoned travelers)
