As you enter this spacious villa from the terrace, a small corridor opens on the right to the living room area below.To the left is the master bedroom with a small child room/study en suite, then the twin bedroom and at the end a full bathroom. To the right, some steps lead up to lge. mezzanine/den with two single divan beds. A small open staircase leads down to the livingroom and dining area and fully fitted kitchenette, including diswasher and washing machine. There is also a small pantry next to the stairs. The whole inside area of the villa is open space, except for the bedrooms and bathroom obviously, Because it is built on a slope, the accommodation is on three levels as described. Outside, the terrace with BBQ opens on to a rockery garden leading down to a lawn with a large pine tree in the middle, some bushes and small fruit trees. Outstanding panoramic views to the ocean, across the farmland fig and almond trees. Pathway to cliff and beach.
The property is a small farm located on a protected piece of land, between the Boavista Golf Resort, and the ocean. There are three houses on the grounds: Casa Velha, the original farmhouse, family home not for rental. Villa Pocilgo, a charming and cozy 1 bedroom cottage (max. 4 occupants) with open fireplace, next to Casa Velha, with its own terrace and BBQ and sharing the same amazing views across the biological swimming-pool and the gardens, through fig and almond trees and wild fennel, to the sea, . And Villa Celeiro, a very spacious 2 bedroom split-level villa (max. 6 occupants), with mezzanine, its own garden with lawn, rockery and pine and almond trees.
One can walk along the cliff path, after crossing the land, either left to Praia de Porto de Mós, or right towards Praia da Luz. The very large biological pool, shard by the 3 houses, looks like a natural lake and is a favourite with most children! It is also a great attraction for migrating birds...

Yoga and meditation: Because of its location and the layout of the grounds, Quinta da Falésia could be an excellent venue for small groups wishing to practice both yoga and meditation during their holidays.
Organic farming and gardening: All cultivation at the farm, including the gardens, is organic, no chemicals are used anywhere on the grounds. Guests wishing to try their hand at gardening are welcome! Just ask the caretakers for tools and a pair of are gradually extending the garden areas by pruning and thinning the existing shrubs and succulent plants, then planting the resulting cuttings in protected areas to root or directly where they are supposed to grow into new plants.

Summary: Our family of 5 just returned from Villa Celeiro and we were so delighted with our choice. The location is perfect for privacy, nature and quietness but not too far from amenities, beaches and Lagos Centre. The house is located just a few meters from a cliff known as "caminho dos pescadores" - (Fishermen trail) which takes you to 2 wonderful beaches (20 minutes walk to the left and the same to the right). The view from the house and cliff is stunning! Really worth the walk!!! This is a place to connect with nature especially if you are looking for a restful time as it is away from the crazy buzz of the touristic madness. We found it especially good at night time when you desire a quiet place to sleep. The natural swimming pool was definitely a pleasant addition. Simon - our host - and Dona Ana were great and very easy to contact and connect. We also enjoyed Blacky and Dax, the 2 very friendly property dogs. Although they live in the same grounds there was never a moment we felt our privacy was breached. The house was clean and had plenty of space for the family. It also had everything we needed to self-cater and enjoy our stay. Lagos is a fantastic place to visit. Great food, clean, safe and very friendly people. We highly recommend the place and the whole family whished our stay were longer. We are talking about returning with other relatives!

Summary: We had a wonderful week in the rural cottage. It is located in a fantastic location and everything is there to have a great time. Simon and his family are very warm hosts. We can absolutely recommend this accommodation. What makes the stay completely unique is the incredibly beautiful view and the wonderful natural swimming pond. We would love to come again. Small tip: mosquito nets and/or a fan or air conditioning would make your stay even more pleasant😉 @Simon: many thanks for everything and maybe see you next time.

Summary: We spent one week at Villa. We were family with three children. I will say: the stay there was absolutely perfect. We could use the natural pool and had a short walk down to the coast. Apart from that, you were at peace and had all the rest one wants on a holiday. Due to the closeness to Lagos, there never was a problem with shopping or the bakery. The communication with Simon or his siste was straight out perfect. Especially when we had a little mishap communication and problem-solving were on a friendship basis.

Summary: Our family stayed at Quinta Falesia for a week and loved it. Simon, Jane and Ana-Maria are lovely hosts and their home is truly unique in terms of its natural beauty and proximity to some of the best beaches in Lagos. If you like feeling off the beaten path and close to nature--while still being within 10 minutes of everything you could need--this is the place for you. Highly, highly recommended.
