Positive: The apartment is cozy and located in a quiet area — a good place to escape from the crowds and hide from civilization. The host was friendly and welcoming. There are a few very good restaurants not too far away, and a nice yellow-sand beach nearby (though not directly in front of the house). It’s a peaceful area, and if you’re looking for calm, it delivers.

Negative: However, the location is quite far from Sousse, so you’ll definitely need a car if you plan to visit the city often — otherwise, you’ll end up spending a lot on taxis. Also, while the beach is close, it wasn’t very clean during my stay. The apartment I stayed in did not have a washing machine, so make sure to confirm that if it’s important to you. The shower also needs improvement — the hot water was inconsistent, and water leaked all over the floor, requiring mopping after every use. I’ve stayed in several apartments in Tunisia, and unfortunately, for the price, this one didn’t match the quality and services offered elsewhere.
