Summary: We were a group of 3 families with young children and we have spent two weeks in this villa. It was a wonderful overall experience. First of all, we have appreciated the owner's help in setting up the rooms (bed configuration) and he has provided a lot of information on the setup. Unlike other places where we have been, he was very proactive in communicating with us upfront. Upon arrival, he waited for us at a crossroad, despite the late hour and drove us to the villa. We found there a good welcome package that was very helpful until we did the shopping the next day. The owner was very helpful in providing orientation and advice; he made some good recommendations in regard to places to see, how to park, safety advice and many others. He has even helped us during our stay with reservations at restaurants, which turned out to be excellent choices. As for the villa and the location, I totally subscribe to Laurie B.'s observations, so I will not repeat that. We totally recommend booking that place for a family/large group vacation.

Summary: First of all we would like to thank the owner Mr. Troja for his excellent support during our stay. Meanwhile we spent our summer vacation the fourth time in this Villa and as usual he was very friendly and always available if needed. We had again a wonderful vacation time and the house is in excellent conditions and very comfortable. We feel like coming home and everything we need is available. Each sleeping room has a dedicated bath room which perfectly protect the privacy. Outside is enough space for the kids to jump around even though we had three cars parking there. Very nice is, that we see progress on the accommodation every year. This time, new couches were implemented on the ground floor and on the first floor which are very comfortable while watching TV. Furthermore two hammocks has been installed outside where you can relax in the shadow over the midday heat. As mentioned by other guests, it is a very quiet place but only 10min by car to the sea. Supermarkets could be reached in the same time frame. Overall a wonderful place to spend summer vacation and relax a bit. Thanks again and we are looking forward to come again for vacation. Summary: We were very impressed by the house and the surroundings. The Villa is freshly renewed and all amenities are new and in very good conditions. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The location is very convenient. Few minutes from the sea and other attractions. I suggest to anyone looking to spend some great vacation time in Sicily to seriously consider Villa Emilia. Marco

Summary: The house is very spacious and it is in a great location. It was perfectly clean. Fresh despite the hot Sicilian summer. It is modern and well furnished and complete with all necessary amenities. The owners have been of great help and always available, at every hour.

Summary: "Despite our late arrival, we received a most polite welcome from the T. family. Any requests for help or advice were met fully and speedily. The house was very comfortable and we were supplied with an abundance of high quality towels and bedlinen. The kitchen is fully equipped but the quality of the cooking utensils, particularly saucepans and roasting dishes could be improved. The temperatures in Sicily were very high during our stay but the house remained comfortable being surrounded by large, mature trees which providing plenty of shade. The setting is spectacular. A steep drive with numerous hairpin bends take you to the village of Avola Antica. There are wonderful views from the roof of the villa of the surrounding hills, the town of Avola and the sea. An excellent pizzeria is within five minutes stroll. The beautiful towns of Noto, Siracuse and Scicli are quickly reached by car. Visits to the Cavagrande di Cassibile (4km from the villa) and local wine producers were highlights of the holiday."

Summary: The property is very clean and tidy located in a quiet village mostly full of summer villas. The village itself, Avola Antica, is located 15 minutes out of Avola up a steep windy road but the views from the village are fantastic. The village also has a pizzaria, which is very handy. This location is very central for exploring south east Sicily or if you wish less than half an hour from excellent beaches. The owners of the villa were fantastic, helping us on many occasions and on our arrival, which was in the evening had been very kind and placed some food provisions in the fridge for us. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
